I mean seriously. How terrible.
All it had was
•New enemy mechanics
•New area to play in
•Multiple enemy spawns per strike
•Different dialogue each time you play
•New boss mechanics
•Enemy traps for guardians
•Showed swords in action
•Shows in depth subclass builds
•Showed artifacts
•Showed new weapons
•Two bosses
•No bullet sponge bosses
•Nowhere super safe to stand and cheese
•Showed scanning items
•Vanguard and ghost giving dialogue and lore while in the strike
•New rewards specific to each strike
And even though all we do on these forums is complain about bullet sponge bosses, and bitch that strikes take too long, we’re going to also whine that this strike was TOO SHORT AND DIDN’T HAVE BULLET SPONGE BOSSES.
You people seriously befuddle me.
So you’d rather have a boss with predictable movement and spawns?
You’d rather they be bullet sponges?
You’d rather they take an hour?
Just in case you didn’t watch the stream, let me explain the boss fight.
A huge ultra red centurion comes charging like a bull out of a huge door because your ghost is trying to defuse their bomb. But he isn’t a centurion. He’s charging at you with a jetpack and sword, stomping and slamming the ground around you, dealing great damage. Once you start damaging him, he summons reinforcements and once you get him to about 60% health, he runs away into a door. You can still damage him while he’s running.
Once you clear adds, a huge blue cabal comes out of the door with a jetpack and mortar strapped to his back. He fires mortar rounds at you, that really hurt. They do have hang time, being mortar shells, and you can tell where they will land by blue circles on the ground. You have seconds to move away. He fires at a fast fire rate and summons more adds to kill you.
Once he gets to 60%, he too runs away while you clear adds. Once they are dead, both he and his red brother come charging. This time, mortar guy has a bubble shield and increased damage. Red sword guy leaves sunspots where he slams which damage you while inside. Once one dies, the other takes the gear he had. So he can fire mortar shells and slash you with his sword at the same time. He also regains some health when his brother dies.
If you can kill him, the strike ends.
So my question is;
You people got what you wanted. WHAT DO YOU WANT???
Edit: All arguments in here are blind hate. If anything has a cabal helmet, to you people, it's a reskin. In so, I'm done replying to people. They were 4 levels above. That's why it was easy and short. (I posted that early on when I read all of them at 200 replies when they were nothing but "RESKIN this and that")

11 AntwortenA solar burn nightfall will be a nightmare. There's a difference between cheese spots and cover. I like the two bosses but a big circular arena with mobs and no cover beyond some pillars in the centre of the room.... yeesh.

The only two thing I didn't like about the stream was that Mr. fruit didn't joke around much :D, and that we didn't get more questions and answers like in the first stream, asides that I liked the Strike. Short and straight to the point.

I just wish there were never any adds. It's so lazy. The bosses should be more aggressive BUT I think it's a huge step in the right direction and I'm pretty happy the way it looks.

The strike looked pretty easy and the bosses don't seem very difficult either. It also looked like you could cheese the one who shot the cannon by getting him close to a wall.

There is also the same amount or more missions in Warface as in Destiny... yet Warface missions are way more fun. When i play a Warface mission i feel: - suspense, the feeling that i really have to take care fighting each enemy because each enemy is different and does something completly different e.g. riot shielders (charge at you with shields and pistols, then knock you down*when nocked down u can only use a pistol to shoot at them or have a team mate pick you up, snipers, juggernaughts*1 or two of these in every mission they in an exosuit and deal huse dmg and have huge life and can kill you super fast if your not quick because they have a chaingun etc and more i can't say cause its been a while) -teamwork. there are classes that can heal other team mates *medic * a class that can snipe *etc -fun -feels challenging honestly i really think what destiny is lacking is the true teamwork that comes with having a medic class or something.. i really miss games with healers.. -enemy had to be taken out carefully in Warface... you couldnt just run past them most of the time like in Destiny.. in Warface you had ot actually clear them out or they'd whipe out your whole team, because enemy always dealt high dmg, there was no "out leveling" the enemy in Warface.. anyways ADVICE TO BUNGIE... PLAY Warface AND YOU LEARN HOW TO REALLY IMPROVE YOUR STRIKES... BY FAR THE BEST Co-oP i've ever played in a MMOFPS has been in Warface. Till then, i honestly think you could do better with your strike designs and monster mechanics and strike difficulty. STRIKE FUN FACTOR Destiny strikes 4/10 Warface missions (strikes) 9/10 Warface doesnt do everything perfect.. but where it really shines is in its missions.. they are SO DAMN FUN.. Bungie Learn a thing or two! Cause i love Destiny and want it to improve^^

13 Antwortenin fact, the only thing that was good its that it is a new strike, the boss battle was lame, two bosses, who fight in diferent times, which have only one attack mode, and are at all times exposed to your shoots, making them a bullet sponge with less hp, the one with the sword the only thing that did was running to the player, jump and hit you with the sword, making you fly 30 meters to start all over again, and the other one was only there, without cover launching missiles that made this horrible halo telling you where they were going to hit, until you aproach him, then he just jump to the other part of the map and start shoting again, it has a precarie gameplay design that made my a little bit sad, they could have made something really unique with this boss battle and it failed in every corner, if they wanted to do something a little unique, they should give the one with the sword a unpenetrable shield that only gets damaged after one of the other guy´s missiles hit him 4 or 5 times,, making him vulnerable for a little time, and the bubble of the other one something that appart of only take damage when you are inside the bubble, it should had this thing where when you enter it drains all your shield and make you walk, and the other one enter to fight you, and when he hit you it launch you out of the bubble that way they would made it a little more dinamic, cause the strike wasnt at all, it felt like only two guys super disoriented fighting like they didnt knew what was happening, while there are 10000 cabals shooting at you to give it some kind of challenge. like they where dizzy by the crash of they ship with the dreaghnout sorry if my english its awfull but its not my native language and its the best i could write without google while in work. sorry if your eyes bleed.
