So is swordbearing a new art all of a sudden?
Every crota raid I've done this week no one knew how to or even wanted to attempt it. I practically learned on the spot
Edit: I know it's easy guys. I don't really like doing it but yes it is easy

2 AntwortenIt's stupid easy on Hunter, fairly easy on Titan with the crazy high jump, -blam!- the warlock, but it is still possible

1 AntwortenIf you are still blink striking with the hunter you are doing it wrong. Get used to doing it the same way you would have to do it with the other characters, jumping up and back off.

I can solo crota with my warlock. But have trouble getting the timing right with a group. That's why it's just me and my friend.

3 Antwortennot an art but it takes a couple rounds to get down. Love running sword and relic! ill run whatever mechanic they have in TTK too if they have one.

1 AntwortenLol, every lobby I've went into, there would be at least 2 people fighting or arguing over that privilege. It seems like most of the higher levels have no reason to raid anymore except for fun. I used to join randoms on Crota just so I could use the sword, but most of the lfg groups I joined had another guy with the same idea who refused to raid or would leave if they couldn't swordbear.

This happened to me right when TDB came out. No one knew how to right off the bat lol. It's not too bad. It's much easier as a 34 with all 34 level weapons. Try it as a 32, with all 32 in the group using 32 level weapons (no Gjallarhorn) then let's talk about it being easy.

6 AntwortenI know I have had to be the swordbearer on my warlock as well as my hunter. So far have not had to do it on my titan but I imagine its only a matter of time. Heck I played a VOG yesterday with someone who swore they have done VOG hard before but he asking us what the detainment field was as he has never seen it or been in one before....he didn't even know he had to shoot it........

Run it in all 3 toons. Not sure why so many get freaked out about it.

It's satisfying no? To lead your team to victory? I enjoy running the relics and helping those that may have never done a raid before. I wish people weren't so scared to try it themselves. I encourage everybody to give relic holding a try.

I've been swordbearer on all 3 classes since it released, my first hard downing was with my Titan. People still to this day get all "Oh no we need a hunter" even though I have 300 completions lol.

2 AntwortenI dont raid with randoms any more. The ampunt of times ive heard "I dont know how to do the bridge legit" is effin bs. Or "should we wipe for oracles" NO ITS EFFING LEVEL 30! I dont mind helping new People, but when you see people who "demand" this or that but cant even raid properly. It just pisses me off.

If anything people always wanted to but never wanted to because of the time investment -scared to fail and let ppl down .. Waste time ... So the most reliable person would sword bear. I remember just having fun at Crota - we'd get there and force the new guy to sword bear . We all could but it was awesome getting ppl who have no confidence in themselves to do the most important task . ( even if we loose over and over cuz it's for fun )

Helped a group last week and three of the guys had never beaten it. It was cool leading them to the achievement. They were grinding for hours took me a while but we got it done!

For some who have never done it I guess. I run sword and relic on all my characters was never too hard with practice
