Do you think Destiny will outlast minecraft or willl it be the other way round?
And which do you think is more fun...
The original post was that Destiny is not worth its price. It's definitely not worth it. It is a franchising scheme. Not a game. Someone said 10 yrs. It's dumb, and It's just a pain to make a new post.

Time spent doesn't equal quality

1 AntwortenBy far the most amount of time I've ever spent on any game. I'm 36, I've been gaming since I was 6. The game isn't even a year old but I've hammered it almost every night.
-
Seeing as the taken king is Oryx, I don't see how you would guess that the speaker is him. Anyways, to each their own, we'll see how far Bungie decides to take this game and hopefully the next expansion after taken king is just as big as all 3 dlc's combined.

I'm genuinely curious. What did you expect to happen when you posted this?

Over 1100 hours for 90 pound .... It was worth it imo loll And as for saying you could buy two other games for the same price? Please let me know which games these are as there has been nothing to play this past year bar destiny, all will soon change but still 90 pound for 1100 hours to me is worth it
-
2 AntwortenI like pie. Period.

10 AntwortenWorth is determined by the individual. I feel it was worth it.

Opinion. That's all.

1 AntwortenI see alot of people saying words like "not worth it" "same old, same old" or even like you sir. "scheme of marketing" Now I dont want to call a teapot a kettle but I will.. Any form of Dlc, any form of replay-ability boils any game down to "Its too much $" or "Its not fun, its the same old stuff" *cough*CoD*cough* About the "scheme of marketing". Bungie made it explicit. This game is intended to be 10 years long, this is the very first installment, so in terms of plot/ marketing plan, we're not even scratching the surface so to speak. Before you mention the price tag. let me remind you. If 40$ cant be set aside for a game that has a planned release date. maybe its time to budget?

I'll just leave this here.

Woah!! a big company is trying to make money by putting out an enjoyable item in a smart and experienced way?! HOW DARE THEY?? Have you been watching Marvel movies? Do you consider that a money grabbing scheme? Do you HATE disney for hyping all the new movies and having a "plan" for the future of the movies? Didn't fukin think so. Grow up

Bearbeitet von CWard17: 8/23/2015 9:52:12 PMI dislike the game and I won't be buying TTK mainly because I think it will be more of the same crap. However, just because I think they could have done better with the money Activision gave them, doesn't mean Destiny is not worth the money. I dislike the game, but feel that I got my money's worth out of it. In the end, you may not feel it was worth the price you paid. There are others that feel they might have even paid more. Point is, you personally don't feel that you received enough value for the price paid, others will. Amending the title to say "I don't feel like destiny is worth the money..." would be a better way to say it.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von LakeRat xD: 8/23/2015 11:03:57 PMIt's all a matter of opinion. IMO, destiny is well worth the money. I've put almost 2000 hours into the game. There's a lot of things I could complain about but I don't because it's just a -blam!-in video game and u people expect way to much from just one game that already has enough content
-
5 AntwortenLol complains about the lack of content even though he hasn't even touched most of the content

3 AntwortenOnly read the title - you can't possibly be saying anything different than the 500 other stupid ass threads like this. If you feel that way, don't play the game and don't post on the game's forum. Just do your thing and we'll do ours.

This game was fun and I had a really good time playing it but was it worth the 100 I spent a year ago? Nah not really I kinda regret buying this game. I may never buy anything from bungie again because this game was absolutely nothing like it was advertised to be

2 AntwortenSkylanders is a money making scheme. As are the others of its ilk. That train sim game with $3000 worth of DLC is a scam. Destiny for all its faults, costs about 1/3 of what an MMO will run you. I think it still needs time to mature, but the game is fun (with friends). I've more than gotten my money's worth out of it. Even if you don't count time spent grinding. But that's me and my opinion, so take that as you will.

So if i pay 100 dollars for destiny and the play for 100 hours it is jot worth it? Even though i may spend 20-30 dollars on a dvd or movie ticket and then get 2-3 hours out of it?
-
1 AntwortenI think if I play any game that I can get 5-10 hours per dollar out of it's worth it. Destiny is one game that falls into that category. I have a lot of complaints about things in Destiny but I still choose to play it for fun so it's worth the cost to me. Just think about what we spent in arcades when they existed (yes, there still around but are empty compared to 15-25 years ago). I spent so much more back in the day...
-
Eh... I wouldnt consider it too bad, me for example i have 600+ hours into the game for what, 120$ max? That works out so for every 5 hours i play into destiny thats 1$, id consider that pretty fair. I will say though that the price for outside of USA players is stupid, it should convert to the same for there as it is here
