Okay, I'm going to start this off with TTK is going to be another flop, with the price point at $40 and nearly no details on the game.
With all the streams coming up, and all the game informer news, why is bungie being so vague i ask, why do they put little to no content in there interviews? It's because there is very little content, and let me explain, back when Luke Smith did the whole PR stunt of throwing money at the screen, he apologized and made it a separate bundle, but never justified the $40 then $20 price tag on each bundle. TTK is shaping up to be the biggest DLC, but is that really saying much?
Lets look at the "content" they reviled so far. They added swords, (no details) the showed 2x bigger vault space, (woohoo something we have been asking for forever), 13 new exotic weapons ( shows 3, only 1 new one that we have never seen before ) 6 new exotic armor pieces for each class (NO details whatsoever) 36 quests, (that most likely only take 30 mins to complete) the main story (still only looks like maybe 2 hours of content).
They are also taking away Exotics we earned in year 1, why? Because gjallarhorn is just too good right? So lets just nerf it, sell it, then make it un-upgradable, also adding in content thats been here since vanilla destiny (343 vesta dynasty, fate of all fools [maybe]), and $20 for a few emotes!! Thats the price of TDB and HOW, for just 3 exotic armor pieces, and emotes!?! Who thought of that pricing???

GOOD THINGS
I do see what Bungie is trying to do with TTK, trying to listen to feedback and improve. But small improvements a dlc does not make, vault space should have been addressed awhile ago, ghost shells are cool and all, but are we really going to be using all these variants, or are we just going to use the best possible ghost shell we find?
Swords, we have little if almost no info on swords coming in TTK, we know there heavy, we know of 1 called Ark edge , but no info.
Exotic blueprints, cool and all, but why are we just basically throwing away our old exotics, (i.e. Gjallarhorn, thorn, super good advice) that we grinded so long for.

To bungie/cosomo
Why are you guys being so vague about these details?? The exotics/ dreadnaught/ most content.
Please just address what we want to know.
Sincerely,
Trexies
Edit: I wanted to add some commentary on Sidearms HOW showed these off in the trailers to build up hype, but when we got the dlc, there were only 2 sidearms, and the legendary one (vestian dynasty) was much better then the exotic version (dregs promise) and it looks like there going to make a new appearance, but the point is to build hype just like they're doing with the swords.

2 AntwortenWhat a refreshing post asking the important questions in this sea of Bungie Kool-aid drinkers and hype-train passengers. No Bungie... Not this time. Bungie got me with that whole vague, discover the mystery marketing bullshit back in 2013-2014. Hell yes, I still hold on to that shit for the fanboys reading this. I'm not falling for it again. No TTK until it's been out at lease a month and has been reviewed from the rooter to the tooter. Bungie better deliver a game and not 99 ways to grind which my gut tells me it is.

4 AntwortenBecause if they told us everything in it we wouldn't buy it. They fear (rightfully so) we will think it's not worth it once we know how much is actually in it. If they just priced out their game and content reasonably there wouldn't be any problem with destiny. We would be okay with not knowing how much or what content since it's a small investment. But since ttk is 2/3 the price of a full game and the "full" game they game us the first time wasn't worth 60 I'm super skeptical that 40$ will get me the game that we were supposed to have 95$ before this.
