Can you hold the relic and bear the sword?
I'm just curious. In my recent raiding experiences its been increasingly difficult to find quality relic holders and sword bearers.
Are we a dying breed?
I can wield both although I'm better with the relic.

Relic I am a god but when I pick up the sword the whole fireteam is stuffed

Well, I was the Swordbearer for Hard and killed Crota earlier. Only my second time as Swordbearer. Relic though? I'm along the lines of god-tier probably.

As long as my teammates actually know what they're doing then i will gladly take the mantle as relic holder/swordbearer

I can do both, very very easily. I always bear the sword, any class, hard or normal. I actually get mad when I don't get teleported in VoG because as soon as the three are getting teleported I just hold X because I was always the relic holder in my raid team. Now I have to do it with ransoms and randoms suck.

I don't like the thought of having the weight of the teams victory on my shoulders. That's why I never touched the sword and seldom use the relic.

I can make do with the sword but I am one of the main relic holders. I am the keeper during Templar and main Venus relic holder at gate keeper.

Both are relics. Other is the Shield of Aegis, other is a Sword of Crota.

I can run both.... As long as there's not a crap ton of lag.

Sword is a joke now we aren't 32. Relics harder than sword but still not really a challenge. Good level 29 relic holders back in vanilla got added to my friends list back when I used to LFG. Have a strong list now, raiding is a piece of piss

I can only do the relic cause my sweet bubbles distract boomers. I have a pretty good idea on how to do it, but I've never attempted it
