Edit 1: I do plan on updating prior to destiny 2. Just waiting for a slim version of the ps4. So stop with the elitist comments that I'm to poor to upgrade.

Edit 4 : the ps4 is not slim! Its not a slim version. Some of you kids don't understand that Sony always makes slim versions of each console. The ps1 was already slim yet sony managed to make a slimmer version of it.

20 AntwortenBeing that you didn't understand the changes to the vault let me enlighten you. The vault may appear to have been increased but what they actually did was remove the amount of items necessary to be in them. This is due to the fact that exotics are now "unlocked" upon acquisition. They couldn't even double the amount of inventory space for us so they applied a completely different system. Which in the long term is a better system to begin with. Consider it the equivalent of an achievement system. WoW players are already using such a system and it reduced the necessity for storage space. So that victory of yours was simply worked around. Vault storage still consumes memory load and they will never uncap it because of the limited RAM on both systems. Last gen will hit the RAM cap much sooner unless they find work around such as these. Instead of slam dunking an "I told you so" you should praise the shit out of bungie for coming up with a solution for outdated hardware.

I am not defending bungie but I am giving my perspective. I believe the statement that old Gen was holding back is true.. because they were trying to keep all your inventory on one screen. Since they put multiple screens/tabs they were able to do this. And being that what they had done before was a quick fix at the time. This will be a more permanent fix.

With the original implementation it was. They could not just add new slots to the existing menus. I mean look at all the rearranging they had to do. They completely had to redesign how the inventory system works.
