Okay this is getting annoying, sometimes I can play Destiny just fine but there are other times when it just won't let me, I keep getting this error code at least once every 10 minutes. I already read the whole network troubleshooting article but nothing seems to help.
What I am doing to try to "alleviate" this is: wiring my 360 to my router, turning off WiFi (please notice that when I do this my 360 is the ONLY device in my entire house connected to the internet) but I still get the error code please help!!!! :c

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von KannibalKlown: 8/18/2015 7:04:51 PMMy friend was getting baboon errors constantly... until he moved from WiFi to wired. Granted, one anecdotal event does not make a pattern... but it might be worth trying. Even if 99% of your other games run fine, there could be something on your side that Destiny is sensitive to. Rule everything out on your end first A) Switch from WiFi to wired B) Cold-reboot your router and modem C) Check for firmware updates for both router and modem D) Maybe try switching to Google DNS instead of your ISP's DNS E) Try opening up some ports on your router, using the Destiny FAQ Meanwhile, there can also be issues on the ISP's side / Microsoft's / Bungie's / etc. But best to rule out everything on your end first.

2 AntwortenI have a theory that the error codes don't mean anything and that bungie just has issues with keeping people connected. Error codes are way too common. I have 60mb internet and get told at least once per day that I have "no internet connection."

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von RedPhoenix HD: 8/18/2015 3:05:02 PMBaboon is generally due to packet loss, so somewhere between your console and the servers it is losing packets of data. This may be due to something at your end, something at your ISP, routing issues, or issues with an upstream provider. You seem to be moving in the right direction by wiring the console, and as I said, it may not be at your end, but let's go through the motions and see what we can figure out. At the very least we will eliminate what we can at your end and see if we can tell where the issue is coming from so it can be further looked at. With the XBox connected with a wired connection, run a detailed network test. I think on the XB360 you run a multiplayer test and then choose to view the details when it is done, unless they changed it. Don't do the report from a computer on your your local ISP test since that doesn't test anything but your local connection. From the console itself, I'm interested in seeing your UP and DOWN speeds, the Latency reported, the MTU, and the packet loss reported.
