Everyone who has played this game has seem Xur come with an exotic they already had via RNG. I remember the first time TLW was sold, and I was upset for a few seconds, but I realized it's just a game. There are way more important things to spend your time worrying about.

Look bud, if it was the same as a mythoclast in that you had to do something [i]specific[/i] for it, I'd be right there with you, but it's not, it regularly gets handed out to players who have done nothing on raids or in crucible, which makes your point invalid. ANY random drop is - wait for it - a RANDOM drop. So chill. I did something hard for both of mine too, but I could have done nothing and still got it
