"Don't open the spirt bloom chest" Also when all weapons & armor had a base stat and you went through a full progression (using mats to get max armor or damage) Still placing first in iron (suros) banner even through you are a lvl 5 because the level disadvantage wasn't big enough

*Loot caves *Queen's wrath *Legendary engrams turning it to blue armor/weapons *Fusion and Auto rifles were actually used in crucible *Seeing all the Lvl 29 guardians *barely anyone knew what the hell Thorn was. *players actually used different rocket launchers during raids then just using Gjallarhorn. *the heavy ammo drought *getting jackalotye from the postmaster *getting the tumbler sparrow *grimore didn't really matter to players(my opinion)

I have many many memories (beta/day 1 player) but my favorite will always be the loot cave. Joining parties, talking for hours, just having the best time shooting in a hole. Never felt closer to the community... The gentle souls of the first 3 months of destiny are long gone...

Edit: one more huge thing. Having to have full raid gear upgraded to hit max level
