AFK players are a nuisance, but, I'd rather an AFK player than 2 runners. I absolutely despise the guys who wanna run passed all the enemies. It's bad enough there's not much content, but for fúcks sake AT LEAST FÚCKING PLAY WHAT CONTENT THERE IS!! Running for a 1 in 3000 chance at that one exotic you need...just stop. Killing enemies might net you it sooner with engram drops.
Your two rules might help, but I'd like more strikes that force you to stay and kill enemies like Undying Mind and Dust Palace. More like that would be nice.

I hate it when teammates stay to kill enemies, but I go with the flow and always just do what the other 2 people do.
-
At least you help them regardless, I just hate people who run. Read the rest of the comments for an example of what most runners feel like to me.
-
Agreed. I can't stand it when players skip things. This is why I wish there was optional matchmaking... I would love love love it if I could just jump into a strike SOLO and slowly eradicate every living thing I see.
-
Dude I run through every strike, when you've done everyone of them a thousand times it gets boring. I usually just do it for xp or farming blues so I don't wanna take my time with the pointless trash at the start. If I could run to the boss section I would lol
-
I basically do strikes if I need glimmer. The rewards are just side things, so if I see dudes running ahead I'm like, enjoy fighting that boss one man down. I'll be here just getting my glimmer lul.
-
Thats a horrible way to get glimmer. A raid can get you 10 - 15k or even doing Exclusion zone gets you 500 glimmer in about 30 seconds
-
Bearbeitet von Petrinko: 8/13/2015 1:29:43 AMBut that's boring. I already have to replay content. Might as well not be restarting said mission over and over. Also raids don't give glimmer except for the gate keeper part in VoG with the first hobgoblins. Neither does PoE.
-
Shards and energies sell to the speaks for 250 glimmer each.
-
Ohhh I got you.
-
If you're like me and have a heap of shards and energies already you just dismantle guns and armour and sell them to the speaker each week.. 2 raids usually fills me up but im never usually empty.
-
Agreed. Bump
-
People want the rewards from the shitty content.. People who dont run through are a pain in the ass and i usually just get to the next section which no re-spawns and die so they get teleported forward. There is no reason for people to kill everything in strikes.
-
Doing that is selfish, it also ruins no death bounties. Think about others.
-
Yes think about others.. dont take 15 minutes to run a 5 minute level 28 strike when everyone is level 34.
-
At least they don't ruin bounties or force you to play at their pace. Or spoil your fun. Not even close to the same. You're the selfish one here, no one else.
-
It also seems that you're the only one here who cares as i couldnt give a -blam!- if it -blam!-s up your 2500 xp bounty lol. I go out of my way to die so it brings them forward.. we are high level players we dont -blam!- around killing weak ass enemies for no reason.
-
Bearbeitet von The-Iron-Duke: 8/13/2015 6:06:54 AMLike I said, selfish. At least you admit it. And just because you're not smart enough to understand doesn't mean there's no reason.
-
I get like 90 kills a strike and i rush through them.. there is no excuse for sitting back and trying to kill everything. Engram drops from a dragon strike are rare enough as it is, you're better off running to the end and getting the exotic chance or legendary engrams from the final boss. If you collect the kill 100 enemies bounties well you're a noob if you cant complete them while rushing through strikes.
-
That sums you up. I knew you'd not understand, like I said, just because YOU don't understand doesn't mean there's no reason. Not even going to bother explaining, just going to let you remain ignorant.
-
Theres nothing to explain anyway.. i play the game i want to and you play the game you want to.. the only thing is if your being a -blam!-ing noob and killing everything ill kill myself and bring you forward and dance when you spawn.
-
Or being a noob and dying, like you do to drag others forward. How is that any less noobish than wanting to kill everything? Or is it just that those are your arbitrary and meaningless requirements for being a noob?
-
The people i find in strikes are level 34s they dont have any reason to be killing the level 28 weak ass enemies.. if you dont have to kill enemies in an area i dont.. yet i still end up with the most amount of kills per game. So the noobs who need to be carried along through the strike who try kill everything end up with less kills then me anyway. We are just repeating our selves with this so its time to move on.
-
But there is a reason though, fun. Just because you don't want to do it that way doesn't mean others don't. Why can't you grasp that simple premise? You don't dictate what others find entertaining.
-
Well they do say small things amuse small minds so i understand how some find killing weak pointless enemies fun.
Just because you don't want to do it that way doesn't mean others don't.
I understand this but they wont be doing it when playing in a strike team with me as ill bring them forward.. keep up or leave.
-
No, they say simple things amuse simple minds. At least get it right. And lol at you for even thinking that, who the -blam!- are you to judge what others find entertaining or not? Dragging people forward is selfish. Learn to share your toys.
