Report.
Move on.
They actually ban people from strikes for a few weeks if they've found to do this.
Can tell you're new.

Bearbeitet von Buck: 8/13/2015 12:21:03 PMHe's been registered on Bungie website for 2 years (longer than yourself) and has put in over 500 hours on Destiny, curious how you constitute this as being "new" ?
-
Check my time played I'm a day one player and only found out last night that you can blow your sparrow up yourself by shooting it 😒
-
Exactly my sentiment to XjayceX , Veteran players, including myself still encounter new things within the game.

I played in the very first halo tournament on pc if you want to discuss length of time playing bungie games? And simply because he doesn't know something that was in an update and addressed in ttk.

I did. I completed it with someone on the Co op mode while shit faced. In fact still think the end of it was a nice change to most fps games prior. Why assume?

Top tip instead of trying to be elitist just stick to the topic you can look dickish other wise.

Assume all you want.

Bearbeitet von Buck: 8/13/2015 12:32:08 PMWe all could have played in the very first Halo tournament on PC, the proofs in the pudding and currently your pudding has nothing to solidify it's cause. So because he/she potentially hasn't kept themselves informed with a forthcoming update they'd be deemed as a "New" player ? There's still certain things in the game that I learn from time to time, as I'd hazard a guess that a lot of other day 1 players still do aswell, I wouldn't necessarily categorise them as being "new". Strange to comment to make, to say the least.

1300 hours logged and I only just found out that the husk got disabled through the house of wolves and the patch fixed it. God dam you house of wolves!!!!

Evidently you'd be new to the Internet since you don't know what the term means. Has absolutely nothing to do with time played and everything to do with understand. I have owned witcher 3 since it came out. Played 6 hours. I'd be classed as new on that due to my lack of understanding of the game.

Bearbeitet von Buck: 8/13/2015 1:00:18 PMYour response has little creditability considering you have just contradicted yourself. 1st reponse: You state being "new" to a game, lends itself to someone's understanding of the game and it's updates. Yet you try to justify your own 'length of time' by stating you've participated in one of Bungie's first tournaments. Now you're stating is has nothing to do with length of time but better someone's ability to understand the game they are playing, why justify your own loyalty to Bungie then if it has no relevance? As stated there are elements of the game I would guarantee players have yet to experience and/or have yet to indulge themselves with information that is publicly available but they have been playing this title since day one, this certainly wouldn't classify these individuals as new. Certainly not new to the internet but I admit, I'm probably not as endowed when it comes to the current generation of 'gamerspeak' you young un's relate to.

No I replied with my length of time due to the fact you think that's important But please continue.

Bearbeitet von Buck: 8/13/2015 1:45:53 PMYou're trying to directly slur an individual as being new or you're trying to use a word in a different context to it's actual meaning. Either way they're both unwarranted. At the very least you should try to divulge your train of thought, currently you have yet to do so proficiently enough for anyone to take your comment in the context of how you yourself perceive it to be. It's not important to me, more so curious to know how you came to the conclusion but more so to educate yourself, to avoid further embarrassment. If you categorise everyone as being "new" due to them not keeping themselves informed with latest developments then you're pretty much calling out a very large portion of the community. Somewhat of a generalist view and unequivocally incorrect. Either way, your first comment currently still holds no weight. How's your wrists by the way?
-
Yes how dare anyone expect people to read the updates that directly address these instances before making a thread. Herp
-
Minus the herp ..... I'd be inclined to agree kiddo.

I actually really like this buck guy

I'm certainly not new and I'm aware of what Bungie does with reports. But isn't it better for everybody if these sort of rules are set? People will never have to report players and leave to get in an active fireteam and those who go afk won't be able to be afk anymore because of this and they won't have the risk of getting banned anymore.
