If I can go flawless, so can you!
I’ve never competitively played CoD/Halo or many other shooter games. My aim was decent at those games but not great. When I stepped into Destiny’s PvP I declared it as a dumb waste of time because of the constant melee and shotgun trades (I was running a shotgun & a handcannon at the time) which I blamed on the terrible hosting network used in Destiny. Naturally, I was doing terribly, having a 0.8 K/D at the time. This meant I mainly focused on PvE which I exceled at and really enjoyed the teamwork & the strategies required when raiding. But when Trials first came out, I was on a constant struggle bus trying to reach the light house. The teamwork, strategies and my lack of practice required from Trials of Osiris hit me like a truck and I repeatedly got my ass kicked by average teams.
So I practiced playing PvP, mainly focusing on playing skirmish rather than 6v6 game modes. I learned how to play in the meta of the time (Thorn/Felwinters Lie). When I got really comfortable, I turned up my sensitivity to a 9-10 so that I could turn faster and ADS to slow down. I stayed away from sniping because I was horrible at it. I started practicing with the top 2 PvPer’s in my clan, at first they were much better than I was. But through consistent motivation and huge learning curve I quickly caught up and partly even over took them. Going flawless for the first time was a phenomenal feeling and a huge moral boost among the team. And with excitement in the air we finally touched the sand of the lighthouse and collected that sweet, sweet loot, showcasing all the hard work pushing us to the summit.
I then picked up sniping, and now have more kills with a sniper than with a shotgun. I now use all primary weapon types and have learned to play well with all classes. I’ve done 300+ trials flawlesses and helped 100+ people reach the summit of PvP. I now have a stream, a ton of friends who I play with on a weekly basis and have reached rank 30ish in the world for Trials of Osiris.
Moral of the story is that if I can go flawless, then so can you. And I am here to help! I am not going to carry you to the lighthouse but rather guide you and help you become a better player. So if you need a teammate and have the determination to learn to work as a team then look me up on Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/lunarle or send me a message on PS4 (PSN: LunarLe93) or here on the forums and I’ll respond with haste! Also I would like to know your story as to why you need help, so that I can get to know you.
TL;DR Through determination I became a good player and so can you by checking my out at:

2 AntwortenNo offense, but I find everyone sucking some serious dirt when I play pvp on PS4, played Destiny there for about a week thanks to a friend of mine, and I just found no one to be that challenging to kill, unlike Xbox one, you will see sweaters there every match hehe

7 AntwortenJust followed the steam. I'm in a clan of three and, well, I think all three of us just suck pretty bad. We can't seem to string together more than 2 in a row. I'd call myself pretty much a middle of the road player. One guy is slightly better than me and one is unfortunately bad. If gets incredibly frustrating when we are communicating really well and can't figure out what the hell we are doing wrong! We don't have this trouble anywhere else in the game. I think what you're doing is cool and will be on the stream waiting for my turn. It would be amazing if you got all three of us there over some time. We could make it progressively harder for you depending on which of us is in. Could you give some load out tips for each class so we can be ready? Thanks again!

2 AntwortenWill have to look into this.

1 AntwortenHey there, been flawless last week with random ppl from LFG. What we all as mediocre/poor PvP players learned is that it's the common team effort and working, efficient communication that pave the way to the lighthouse. For I have to look for randoms to play trials this week again (no clan), I wanted to ask you if you wanna join up this time. I don't wanna be carried,as my stats may suggest, but be part of an team effort. I'm on PS4, my PSN is ScarScrilla Thanks in advance!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Amally: 11/9/2015 11:36:54 PMSuccess stories like these are my bread and butter. I was just like you man. I sucked so bad. If you check my DTR, I had negative KD through out launch all the way to January. I hated auto rifles. I'm not a spray and pray kind of guy, I'm all about precision. I always liked hand cannons and even in the Suros era, I used to run Hawkmoon. When HCs got buffed, I fell in love with Thorn. It complimented my shotgun play style. This is around when I started looking for a clan, stopped caring about stats and just plain wanted to get better. I found a group of guys on here who invited me to their clan and I met some really amazing players that I played with and against on a daily basis. I just watched what they did and tried to copy it as best as I could. Little by little, I started to learn the angles on the maps, the perfect builds, the perfect perks for weapons and armour. One day a good friend of mine told most of the great players play on 3-4 and that's how they sniped so well. He also told me to go watch TripleWRECK on twitch. Long story short, I went from 0.8 KD to a 1.54, 85,000 total kills, 9000+/- Sniper kills (71/3% Precision Kills), Top 600 players overall on DTR and hella montage clips. Good luck man, I can totally relate.
Bump this please guys https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/172309977/0/0 ... It's a compilation of some of my year 1 clips
5 AntwortenI had a kd of 0.2 I have made it to 0.86 now would like your help on getting better at pvp. Hate going solo and getting pubstomped by a full fireteam. Wish I was able to give back as good as I got. Hate getting quick scoped on spawn etc. :). Trials would be the ultimate test but getting good with pvp more important.

2 AntwortenI'm not a very good PVP player, well i've tried Trials only a few times and usually I don't play it because I don't want to be a hindrance to the team i'm playing with. The team was actually pretty cool about it saying I tried atleast, but I feel like I hold them back, That's why I haven't played trials after that. I'll check out your twitch. What time do you usually stream at?

2 AntwortenI have a 0.99 kd (literally) and I've never gone flawless. Teams are always demanding for previously flawlessed people, and so I am never able to find a team. If I do join a group, they are Incompetent and can't communicate. I don't mind carrying, but these groups can't even tell where the enemy is, much less kill them. In other words, I'd love some help from a experienced player. I'm on ps4 add Paul_vibez or I can add you. A help with trials would be awesome. I can hold my own, I just need to know that my teammates can do the same :)

1 AntwortenMy trials k/d is 0.77, skill 16 I am best ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
today, I realised why I have never gone flawless :/
