I think gear trading will be hit-or-miss, but worth a shot. It would have to have a tier cap, up and down, to prevent people from trading in a white gun for the Gjallahorn, or whatever is the next most sought after Exotic, and should include trading glimmer, (and perhaps even Vanguard and Crucible marks) sort of like a human vendor.
