I killed Skolas once and that is enough
After 2 hours trying to pass devouring essence while clearing the arena from adds and timing the mines, my fireteam killed skolas. My first and last.
POE 35 loot does not have anything worth the effort beyond the first completion and grimoire card. I got the awoken ship from the queen's chest which I don't have yet. So that saves a bunch of glimmer.
Anyways who else has killed skolas only once and be done with POE? Sherpas and trainers do not count cause obviously they have done several times training and carrying friends.

I've done it a few times, but mostly to help out friends. The rewards are so poor, it's just not worth the time.

I completely agree, I did it twice, never again not untill Taken King is out and I am a 40. F that.

I was one and done on 35. I still run 32 and 34 tho.

One and done. PoE is the worst game mode we've gotten to date. I would have preferred another half baked Crotas End to that trash.

Yea I kill skollas about 4 times haven't tried in weeks it's sad that trials of Osiris has the rewards they should've put on skollas

It took me 20 min to kill skolas and 1 hour and 4 min to complete the whole thing. Never doing that again

Skolas needs to be beaten once. No point in doing it twice. Unless you have a rad group of people you run with every weekend. Unfortunately for the masses we have to rely on the dipshit from the forums

2 hours? Shouldn't take more than 20 minutes or so to kill skolas. Sometimes less than that

My buddies and I finally killed Skolas last week and I had been thinking of making a similar post. For me, it wasn't the difficulty but the lack of rewards that mean I will never play level 35 again. I actually enjoyed the challenge. Yes, there were plenty of cheap deaths in round 3 with the arc burn and in the Skolas round, but we kept playing and didn't rage quit. Completing level 35 actually felt like an accomplishment, which I'm sure was the goal when level 35 and Skolas were created. (Cue replies about how easy Skolas was and that I need to git gud). Then we got to the treasure room and (other than the shader, etc. you always get) all we got were guns we've gotten 5 times already on the easier versions of POE. The 4.5 hours it took us from the start of round 1 until the end of Skolas is not something I want to go through again to get a gun I could have gotten in 30 minutes on level 28.

Beat it 2 weeks ago and I don't ever plan on doing it again but it was rewarding having beat it at least once when it no longer has burns to help you.

4 AntwortenI love the Skolas boss fight. Since the update, it feels completely fair and with solid strategy and communication, he is not so hard. It is challenging but it doesnt feel unfair at all. And I think the PoE weapons are a bit under rated. Stats wise, they are awesome. And the first few rows of perks are usually brilliant. Its that last perk slot that ruins them.

I've done it maybe 5 to 6 times. The rewards are soooo bad, the primaries have never dropped for me not once. I have all the elder ciper exotics so SCREW SKOLAS! I'll tell you what I do know, Bungie is soooo douchey they'll wait til TTK patch and be like "we also adjusted the drop rate at Skolas blah blah blah" they did the sh!t with crota after the dark below and I'm bankin they'll do it again here. They know those Skolas and prison in general rewards are garbage, but guess what? We paid for em already jokes on us. Now before they tune prison to be a better encounter they're shoveling TTK info at us for the next big score(by score I mean lining their pockets with consumer mulah). It comes a point and time where you gotta decide to hop off the hamster wheel or keep runnin the endless race

I completed it once and I will NEVER do it again. It was a nightmare. Ha!
