After 2 hours trying to pass devouring essence while clearing the arena from adds and timing the mines, my fireteam killed skolas. My first and last.
POE 35 loot does not have anything worth the effort beyond the first completion and grimoire card. I got the awoken ship from the queen's chest which I don't have yet. So that saves a bunch of glimmer.
Anyways who else has killed skolas only once and be done with POE? Sherpas and trainers do not count cause obviously they have done several times training and carrying friends.

1 AntwortenSame here. Except I had attempted twice before. The first time, the fireteam leader rage quit after two hours and took us all back to orbit. The second time I had to leave after an hour and a half at Skolas. Third-times-a-charm and I'm not doing it again...
-
I killed him once and had my fill of PoE after that. The rewards suck and it take too long.
-
Yep, same here, one and done. I'd much rather run the 32 and 34 PoE, get the exact same rewards, and not have to invest so much time with no checkpoint. Other than the ship and shader, I got NOTHING I can't get from a 32 or 34 PoE run.
-
I finished it twice in first two weeks after the dlc came out and that was more than enough. PoE is the biggest failure in Destiny.
-
Right here but I have to do it again for moments of triumph because I restarted my Titan and he was the one I did it on

2 AntwortenFirst day 2 34s and a 33 took 74 mins
-
Same one and done. If the banner hadn't been offered I bet I'd have skipped it completely. I got the ciphers from the easier less time wasting 34's. Why would a normal person go back in? For more shitty ships we don't have room for ?
-
3 AntwortenI only done it to get Queenbreakers Bow and LoW, the PoE legendaries are some of the worst in the game.
-
Same. I like the fight but no checkpoints (or even a card like getting 32 and 34 done) mean I have to invest 45 minutes for rounds 1-5, plus an additional 45 per try at Skolas. If you wipe, add another 45 to the total. No random skulls sucks the fun out of the road to the big bad.

Did it twice: once on my account and once on my husband's. We got elder ciphers and our triumphs done so we'll pretty much never touch Skolas again. That being said, I did find the fight mechanics interesting and even kinda fun. Lightswitch was annoying af though.
-
I said I would only do it once after I beat him, another full run later, and helping a friend just at skolas, I'm pretty sure I'll get sucked into it again.
-
I agree. I've only killed him once and have no desire to do it again
-
Pretty much agree. I hear him twice, but only because I didn't have a treasure key the first time. Really can't be arsed doing it again. I'll wait to get my second cipher from lvl 34.
-
PoE rewards are terrible. I've beaten Skolas several times and once I complete my second elder cipher I'm never going back in there.
-
Same, its just not worth the effort.
-
Howolves really was great for crucible players And I like the 32 and 34 although I should get some goodies between each round The 35 should have checkpoints and drops for each round With as many elemental guns dropping as do with the 2 raids Bungie could easily fix this and make pve fans happy
-
I've done it 3 times. First for grimoire, second when I was drunk so rage was at a minimal, and third was recent for a friend that begged me for 2 weeks. Every single one wasn't worth it. Not a single elemental weapon dropped.
-
Once and thats it
-
Me I did it once and that is
-
Too true
-
Done it once it took so long I would never try it again
-
Killed him several times with all characters. I think I'm the only person that actually likes the fight. It's no raid, but I think its an intense fun fight.
-
I killed skolas for the Lauria Prima emblem. That's it. IDC about anything else. If I want a judgements chance to try at primaries I can do the 32&34.
-
I wanted a raid.

Yeah some people have trouble with it. My first go at it was with another new guy and a Sherpa, and the skolas battle took us maybe 40 minutes, the rest took under an hour. ( 3 gallies if that was really the difference)
