I ascended these trousers. Not because they have a good stat boost. Not because they have a perk I want. I ascended these trousers because they're black combat trousers. They don't have crota crusting. They don't have two-tone, chaps-style fashion cut that makes my hunter look like he wants to play cowboy. They don't have a knife sheathed, I grant you, but they have pockets. Say what you want about the Future War Cult, they know how to make trousers.
