Why does everyone hate thorn?
I don't get it. I have seen it all over ye forums of everyone hating thorn and it is just so dumb. Some even say that you shouldn't use it and assume you have no skill if you use it. That is pathetic. If there is a gun in a game and it is good, why wouldn't I use it? Why would I ever use something worse than something else I have? And you act like it is the best gun in the game. There are plenty better and plenty counters to it. I hope you guys will be happy when update 2.0 comes out. What will you whine about then?
After getting bombarded with crap tell me something other than it being a crutch weapon and that people who use it have no skill. It's pathetic that just because you can't counter people who use you blame your deaths in it and call people out for sucking for using it please tell me something I haven't heard a million times

Just keep using it and ignore the haters. People who try to impose their own rules on a video game are known as scrubs. Never acknowledge the scrubs. They are poor players who can't win in the game so they try to win by complaining for a nerf on the forums

Thorn is the two hit weapon. Aside from A shotgun or sniper rifle no weapon should be two a two hit kill. I'm not at all bad at crucible or any pvp but when I get in a round and half the enemy is using the same weapon and it two hits while even my timurs lash with almost completely maxxed out impact takes 3-4 hits to kill means I have to dodge his aim assist multiple times to kill him And hope another thorn user doesn't chime in on our fight. The only real counter to thorn is snipe them or get up close and personal, anything midrange and you'll be so far from being on level terms the fight is a waste of time because if you get hit once you need to hide while they regain all their health and rush you while your DOT hasn't even ended yet so you have two choices, pull a shotgun and blast him before he has a chance to when he rushes or accept your death. It's easier to skim the outside of maps then to go down the middle because it's always covered by thorn users I don't care to deal with. Last word users at least have to learn to fire their weapon to be good with it while thorn essentially just shoots in your general vicinity and it's a win in the fight for them.

People complain because they want to be able to use everything, not just the op weapons and their counters.

If people think using an unbalanced weapon in competitive multiplayer is a bad thing, thats pathetic. 2. You antoganize those same people asking for balance by insinuating they were whining when its clear that the weapon is broken. That opinion is shared by some of the better pvp players in the community. So yeah, I don't think you're very smart.

Doesn't even matter if the thorn is OP, people are just gonna complain to complain. Same thing is gonna happen when the Thorn gets nerfed and a new weapon takes its place in TTK.

I could break it down for you but you probably wouldn't listen to reason or facts. You see hate on a weapon and assume that the people asking for balance are unskilled. Well those asking for balance will keep presuming you're the unskilled one and so forth.

I got Thorn pre-buff. I used it a ton when it got buffed, but now only use it if i got a handcannon bounty or don't feel like really concentrating. ..had a few beers lol. It's way OP, period. The aim assist is otherworldly in comparison with other guns. The nerf is in order to stop the Crucible going stale. It's an amazing gun, but it does pad your skill in relation to most others. I think the growing majority of PVP players are just over it.

It's a simple case, when ones screen turns to vomit many times and dies after a while of being eaten alive by vomit it gets annoying. I guess what I'm saying is that it's not the gun, it's that everyone uses it.

Dot forces you out of combat pretty easily and for a long period. 1 headshot is equal to red bar. It has one of the highest aim assists in the game ? The bullets literally can curve if you dont believe me go watch destiny planets video on it. It out guns a sniper from far range tf is that ? Fastest ttk in the entire game. 3 body shot weapon no other hand cannon comes close to that not even tlw. Soooooooo is the gun op yes does it need a nerf yes have i used it yes and ik how ridiculous it is and easy it is to use. Now that being said i dont have a problem with you using it but it is frowned upon why because the gun is stupid broken and requires farless skill to use because of the aim assist it has on it. If you dont believe me go use a legendary handcannon op glhf . Lmao
