Why does shoulder charge count as melee kill, but throwing knife does not?
Edit: Thread name changed due to community retardation (not all, obviously, some put up an amazing argument, and have ultimately answered my original question)
The throwing knife gets a buff when brawler is active, which is a melee boost. But for example, during the Iron Banner and crucible bounties, shoulder charge counts as a melee kill, but throwing knives do not.
I know its a 'ranged weapon' but still sits in the melee slot. And it still considered the hunter's melee ability, just like the titan and warlock have flame punch, energy drain melee, etc

To be honest it is just a knife. Helmets are pretty armoured. Then you have the Titan's entire weight (considering they have the bulkiest armour, this is a lot of weight + their body weight) plus their speed (terminal velocity) ramming in to your character at around 20kmh. I suck at math, but that's a lot of PSI on your body - armoured or not.

My only problem with shoulder charge is when you are 5 feet away from the stop of ahoulder charge and it still kills you

How can getting shot in the head with a .45 caliber hand gun round not kill you? When's the last time your buddy popped you with one of those and you walked away? It's a damn game, it's not realistic, and it's been that way since it was released. Why are you still crying.

Put on some Kevlar from this decade vice Destiny decade. Throw a knife at it. Laugh at its uselessness and then you know how the rest of us feel when you throw a knife. It is the most laughable attack in a space magic game.

I know right, it's bullshit, even with burn it doesn't to high armour, shoulder charge kills everything in one shot apart from warlocks with the op mask.

1 AntwortenGetting hit by a Titan shoulder charge is like getting hit by a train. No type of gear will protect you. Getting hit in the face by a flaming throwing knife with a helmet on. Helmet might protect you from dying.

It'd be unbalanced. I main gunslinger, my alt is a striker. Charge is no good in the current meta. And that's tons of pounds of metal smashin into you.
