Wow, a lot of people just didnt get the point of this video. Cast aside personal preference of how the message was delivered (I see comments that people disregard his opinion base on his performance in the video). I found him very spot on point and I agree with everything he said. I love his reference of buying cars. It will make sense to examine, research, and bargain when you are buying a car, right? I know some of you are thinking, why do i need to hold on and bargain if I need a car anyway? And here is why, because you want to make sure the car actually works and you are paying what it is really worth for! He is trying to say that we need to be smarter of how we spend our money! Since there is no real consequences if you buy the wrong video games, except that you might regret and have that sign moment. For those of you who loves the game and have the resources and time for Destiny, you are good to go if you just want to enjoy every new contents first hand! For those of us who needs to budget in our lives. This video really helps me clear my head and I hope it can help others too. To realise the traps we are being lured to. I am used to only buying games that I love on first day (Ex. Mass effect series), to show my support to the developers and of course, the excitement of playing the game. I will wait on other games that i am less interested in and wait for games of year edition to get a better deal. With Destiny, I broke my own rules simply with the mentality of "hey, what is happening down the road and want to know and experience more of the Destiny universe". Even though I realise I am spending extra money at the same game! Now I am just gonna wait because I want to get a better deal. I would love to experience Destiny more, but I come to my senses! Marketing is a real powerful tool. If you have read this so far, thank you. And one last thing. Bungie said Destiny is not a MMO, it is a shared world shooter (or whatever they called it). I cant believe I fall for that! Destiny is clearly having a similar MMO pricing structure but is not mature at all. I myself hate MMO because of the endless grinding and meaningless encounter (sorry for those of you who loves MMO) when new content is out. I was dreaming Destiny would be this one game that will have great background story, exciting plot, world to explore, and most importantly, with your friends at the same time! You know it when something sounds too good to be true! Learned my lesson from Destiny!

this video is perfect. I actually feel ashamed for buying both expansions. I can't believe so many people are acting hostile towards this! Yes I have put a lot of time into this game and usually use that as my excuse for buying into but now that I come to think of it...I've enjoyed about 20% of that time. The majority of it feels wasted to be honest. I have so many games that I need to finish but haven't because I kept on going back to Destiny despite it trully being awful. I'm honestly not sure why I play it because I sure as hell do not enjoy it. I've only just recently beaten Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and man it made me question what the hell I was doing on Destiny as opposed to it/BL2/ ANY OTHER GOOD GAME! The quality of Borderlands (one of my examples) completely shits on Destiny and since I have got back to playing it I haven't wanted to go on Destiny since. It makes me real mad because everything I hoped for Destiny just got flushed away. If only there was a way to get my wasted time back... I'm going to have to seriously consider TTK, but when MGS: V is out in the same month...in terms of value for money...we all know what wins.

It's not just about criticising the game or complaining. This is about setting a president about paying a large amount of money for something you don't know about or for very little if in fact their information is everything in the DLC. DLC is not a full game, it's an add on to a game which should not be the same price or more than the original game. Be careful, one you start paying for it companies will continue producing it at the higher price or more. This isn't a good thing for gamers as a whole because your getting less content for more money.

And there are still people claiming there is cut content.

sad but true , even after Bungie cut all kinds of content and sold it at a later date , people make excuses for them 9 items for $20 and HOW DLC costs $20 ,, how can people not see that $20 is way over priced for 9 items ?

I was going to preorder but I've decided to wait till about Christmas to see if the price will go down.
