EDIT: guys, before you say I don't like master chief.... I LOVE master chief. He's probably my favorite character in a video game. Besides my hunter I'm destiny. I played all the halo (master chief) games. I'm not gonna buy halo 5 guardians because I hate 343 tho.

4 AntwortenDepends. A Hardlight Shield can deflect a Fuel Rod, and Incineration Cannon, so it's safe to say it can deflect a Nova Bomb, and possibly a Golden Gun shot. A Fist of Havoc, or Arc Blade would probably be the biggest concerns, and both to my knowledge could probably be negated by armor lock, which I think is stronger than a Hardlight Shield, just takes longer to activate, and doesn't last as long. So.. Hardlight Shield will negate a Warlock or Gunslinger's supers, Armor lock will help defend against a Bladancer's or Titan's. So fairly evenly matched here. As for weapons; Gjallarhorn beats most explosives, but a Fuel Rod can fire fast enough that it might hold the advantage. The detachable turrets beat Machine Guns due to huge clip. Chief wins heavies if they find them. Guardian shotguns and snipers do probably beat UNSC/Covenant/Promethean weaponry. Vestian Dynasty<Plasma Pistol Fusions don't have anything rivaled really. Guardians win sidearms. Nothing beats a Covie Carb. The Plasma Rifle, I think, surpasses most, if not all, Destiny Autos. Battle Rifle is beaten by Bad Juju, and Red Death though. And finally the Magnum beats most Hand Cannons. Chief gets primaries. So in my opinion (this is ALL opinionated) it depends on the battle. Chief had 2/4 Guardians had 1/4 and one was tied, though. (note, we must use gameplay, not lore, to decide the battle, until Destiny has a more solidified universe)

3 AntwortenOk so you asked who would win? Down below it gets into a debate about weapons ect but in a match against a guardian and S117, john would win hands down. He is over 7ft tall with muscle and bone enhancements that practically make him unbreakable, was trianed from the age of 7 to be the perfect soldier with only two concerns 1) complete the mision 2) never leave your team. He also wears a suit that weighs over a ton with a gel layer that can save him when he falls to earth from orbit after hand delivering a nuke, has a small layer of shield that can stop small projectiles and above all he is the luckiest human alive. Ok so we dont know enough about guardians as a whole and maybe there are a few we know about that might be able to give the chief a run for his glimmer maybe saint 14 or osiris but mc would probably sodomize a regular guardian for shits and giggle. Just my opinion

7 AntwortenGuardian has ghost. Ghost can bring guardian back for the dead. The guardian would win. Plus, look at all the overpowered weapons guardians have: thorn, icebreaker, etc. and supers: golden gun, arc blade, whatever the new ones are called, hammer fist, nova bomb, and the other Titan and warlock one. (I'm a hunter, couldn't care less about Titan and warlock supers)
