This is my first time on the help forum and I must I wish I didn't have to be here. I was restricted at some point between 12:42 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. I was not old why I was restricted and I did not cheat or lag switch or manipulate the bungie servers in any way but I was still banned from the crucible. I'm guessing I just got a lot of reports from players who got mad about me killing them too many times or something along those lines but that is unacceptable. I should not have been restricted for being reported for killing someone without cheating or doing anything to the destiny servers or lag switching. I did absolutely nothing wrong and I was restricted from playing crucible one of the few things I still do in the game. Now I'm missing out on trials of Osiris which i play every week and the rest of iron banner. I can't equip any trials armor or weapons either. I don't know why I was banned but this needs to be fixed and if it isn't I would at least like to know the extension of my ban considering it doesn't even tell me that. What I would like to know is why I was restricted? How long will it be? Can it be changed to where I am not restricted? considering I did nothing to deserve a restriction in the first place. I hope you fix this but for now I'll go place something else until I find it is the time I really feel like playing destiny again.
Edit 1: it amazes me that on the HELP section there are people on here not helping but talking shit and saying we deserved it even if we didnt. You are apart of the few that make this community bad.

1 AntwortenSo there are Account Restrictions and Bans in Destiny - these are two separate entities. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent. Bungie does not dispute or overturn either of them. All the details you need can be found at their official policy here. 24 AntwortenYou were banned because you cheated. You either participated in the manipulating of yours or others connection or for backing out of trials matches. Bungie does not make errors in this matter. You would never be banned for a bad connection. You would not ever be banned for performance. You would never be banned for someone reporting you. Bungie looks at all game and networking data and can easily see that your cheating. Bye bye you earned it.

8 AntwortenSame here bro. The process to determine a cheater and a non cheater is quite bad to say the least. They unjustly banned an enormous amount of people. Disregard anything the kids on these forums say negatively. They have nothing better to do with their lives than to troll other kids and say you cheated when most likely you really didn't. Bungie made a huge mistake and to be quite honest I hope they compensate people for restricting them in some way. It's bullshit

1 Antwortenthere isnt much you can do man, and i wouldnt listen to these retarded forum guys. Most of them dont even know what sweaties are. Which means they will report any good player. And bungie listens to them, its hilarious really. The crucible in this game is old and not fun pub stomping kids anyways, oh wait i mean (cheating) sorry bungie we are just to good for your standards (:

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von EPYEON: 8/3/2015 3:38:18 AMI'm in the same boat. I don't cheat, I don't network Manipulate. It just a shame. Before this restirction/banhammer fiasco thing happened, I loved the Destiny community. I loved the game. I loved contributing to the community. But now.. it's like the wind's been taken out of my sails. And to come here in the forums and all I see i people talking shit, being negative towards other guardians. It sickens me. There was this one post from a ex-military soldier who played destiny to ease the pain of PTSD. And the comments underneath that were so rude, and negative. We have no idea what's going on in his life, yet people called him a liar about his PTSD. Come on... why is that we bash each other during the times of need. I'm not saying people shouldn't be banned. All i'm is, you're telling me BUNGIE, could not, and without a doubt 100% make a mistake on this, or a restriction/ban on not one person? Really? Why is there so many posts in the #help forum then. And why is it that there are more people laughing their faces then to stand by them and at least hear their story and check them out. Even after that. we don't know why they're ban... BECAUSE BUNGIE never told them.I just think there needs to be a different process to this. Tell the people why they are restricted and by and for how long. It's like someone being arrested.. they are told the reason why they are being brought in, and in a courtroom they are told how long their sentence is. Guilty or not. There are told. I just see that the people in here are laughing and talking away being rude and negative is comparable to laughing at someone who has been arrested. You don't know if that person is guilty or not.. It's just like the majority of people I see in the comments is backing the police (aka BUNGIE) 100% and it's like they could never be wrong because they are Bungie. They've made some mistakes within this game. from vanilla to TDB and to HoW.. why not this too. They have come out and fixed the other things lacking in this game. And that's why it's improved so much from launch. I just wish they improve on this process. I mean without telling people why they are ban or restricted how can they ever learn from this experience, and not just be banned or restricted (for even longer) the next time? There needs to be some type of appeals process. There needs to be a change. There need to be more guardians who stand by those in need. Although i'm just speaking my mind, and this is just my own opinion.

Not knowing how u got banned makes an innocent worried about a perma ban when this unknown happening reoccurs
-
3 Antworten1) paragraphs please. 2) bungie seems to ban in big fell swoops rather than as it happens. So your ban could have been for an offence that occurred weeks ago (not saying you are guilty, I don't know your life) 3) bungie has specified what constitutes cheating both in update posts as well as in the eula. Additionally, it should be obvious what is cheating. 4) bungie isn't going to say how they figure out who to ban, and if you think about it, it makes sense. The more people know about how bungie searches for cheaters, the easier it is for cheaters to circumvent these measures. If you're actually innocent, that's a bummer, nothing you can do.

Bearbeitet von Alienimator: 8/2/2015 2:35:13 AMThis is not PC, here you won't get banned for being too good at killing (no aimbot, wallhack etc in Destiny). Most of the time the reasons players get banned in Destiny are either because they cheated or they took advantage of some one who cheated, but beside this they can also ban you if you backed out from too many ToO matches. Bungie gives bans after investigating collected data and the data can be from any date and spotting the stuff I listed above is extremely easy, even a monkey with half a brain can spot it, therefore it is extremely doubtful that there was any mistake. Also, Bungie Help states that once you are banned, you are banned, they will not lift any bans/restrictions(until expire date) and they do not respond to msgs related to bans/restrictions.

6 AntwortenHey forklift don't worry about them man they just have no life sitting on here talking bad about them same thing happen to me all the time and money I put into this game and they temp ban me it's a joke
-
14 AntwortenYour recent games suggests that your ban was given to you unfairly, as you didn't back out of matches. However you may have been on a laggy connection and players reported you for it
-
1 AntwortenSounds like the Forklift, Was lifted out of crucible
i know corny
-
22 AntwortenOh the irony. The banned cheater is accusing people of making the community bad...
-
2 AntwortenThey banned the worst offenders so you did it a lot.
-
4 AntwortenLmao who's going to help you? Bungie obviously won't so why would you post here? Do you think one of us can undo the restriction or ban? NOPE
-
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Darth Coleio: 8/1/2015 2:47:46 AMRestricted means you were backing out of matches.
-
11 AntwortenBearbeitet von GemCutter: 7/31/2015 6:26:31 PMI will help you. Just because you don't like the help doesn't mean it's wrong. Bungie specifically said only the WORST offenders were targeted for bans and they don't make mistakes. You got reported multiple times for cheating, bungie checked the data and GUESS WHAT? It showed you cheated. They don't even allow appeals that's how sure they are. Now deal with it. Oh I forgot, part of the punishment is not knowing how long it lasts. Hahahhaha enjoy it.

1 AntwortenIf you haven't set up your internet connection properly (static ip, ports forwarded, etc) that is also a form of network manipulation. Ignorance is not an excuse.
-
1 AntwortenI put up a poll to see how many people were unjustly/justly banned - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/143079417/0/0

Bungie wouldn't have restricted you for no reason. Just take a break from the game. Just be more careful in what you do and who you play with next time.

15 AntwortenHi ! I'm here to collect the tears of cheaters for the new bungie bounty! Make sure they're extra salty!
-
First off. Dont come to Bungie.net forum. It's Cancer. Secondly; there are no appeals for these bans. That's how sure they are. No point in crying about it; what's done is done. It's over...
