Dear Bungie i quit IB until you fix server issues.
I just isn't fun coming up against red bar players that you cannot kill but some how they can kill you. I really hope you do something to fix this one day, but let's be frank I don't think you will. You haven't done anything until now, and it gets worse every week.

Unfortunately Destiny's PvP isn't played on dedicated servers, instead it uses a P2P connection when playing crucible.

5 AntwortenI have been playing religiously, and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cant say I have experienced the Lag you so describe, is your WIFI password protected? What is your download Speed? Do you have an apartment or a home? Most apartments have many units and sublets and have 1 line going in and dispersing everything to everyone. They say your getting maxed download speeds coming in...probably not. Check your bandwidth or move out of Section 8 Housing where the government monitors the internet constantly and interrupts download speeds to send subliminal messaging through your computer to demotivate you....stop your crying and investigate before you blame bungie..........

2 AntwortenI am sitting out of Iron banner this time because last IB 70 percent of my matches had lag switching. I still got to rank 5 on all 3 char. but was not fun so this time I have stayed away. If Bungie is actually banning all I got to say is too little too late almost a year of this shit and now they react.

I get lag maybe once every 20 games and I just simply leave. Destiny is PvP, so I think the majority with the lag issues just have bad ISP's

Maybe I'm just lucky but I played a bunch last night and the night before and I only came across maybe five games total where someone or the whole game was lagging. My IB experience has been pretty good so far. I don't see the constant lag that everyone is talking about.

They use host gaming rather than dedicated servers so its down to our equipment and internet connection (and others, or the lack there of) I have seen on twitter today that people are getting banned for lag switching and editing packet data so I hope soon that it will be better.

That's why I don't touch ToO or even really play PVP anymore. It is far too unstable. Why would I play a poorly designed MP game with terrible connections when I could just play Battlefield or something of the sort? We all have much better alternatives.
