Can we get a simple yes or no if current weapons will be able to be ascended in The Taken King. Personally, I don't care about all legendaries, but I feel that there are 3 sets of weapons that should be ascendable: 1. Exotic weapons. 2. Raid weapons. 3. Trials of Osiris weapons. The fate of your playerbase is dependent on this answer and many of us will not even consider staying with the game through TTK and beyond if we have to start completely over with crappy weapons. The grind to level 30 prior to The Dark Below was too much and you spent most of time with horrible weapons. I will not be doing that again.
