What do you think the new raid will be?
What do you think the new raid for TTK will be like? I personally would like an alternative to the bullet sponge boss ending. Like having two bosses that are slightly weaker than normal raid bosses, but still have raid mechanics to beat them. That way people would have to coordinate their assault, and it might make it so people dont camp on a boss battle...

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von mrbore67: 8/7/2015 4:41:29 PMI think it should have two relic holders. A taken - stylized sword, and a taken - stylized shield. You get the relic be entering a room where it says "oryx demands challengers to feel his roth." Two people step on platforms where each gets a relic. They would then have the shield person fire a blast at Oryx, binding his wings together and causing him to fall. Players damage Oryx until it reads, "Oryx's furor seethes like flames" and the sword bearer would have to hit oryx three times, severing his bonds or the whole team wipes. You would do this twice before all of your weapons disappear and each player is given a sword. "Oryx has called your bluff. Can you break him as you broke his son?" Oryx disappears and drops you in a room with rapidly spawning gatekeepers. Once they are all killed, your swords explode, triggering a cut scene in which you are flung outside of the dreadnaught and must cling to debris. Oryx appears to your team as they stand on a tangle of wrecked ships, and draws his sword. At this point a new relic is introduced, the godrender, that pins oryx down. The Fireteam deals damage until oryx enrages, where you have 30 seconds to find the godrender which has been randomly hidden in the location, and pin oryx again, or the team wipes. Once you've done this you repeat the process until oryx is dead. THEN THE QUEEN GIVES YOU VICTORY SEX. Haha but in all seriousness, is it and ok idea?

8 AntwortenSection 1: Everybody wipe, Warlock self-rez, enemies despawn, complete puzzle, and move on. Section 2: Face boss #1, huddle on top of 2ft rock so Thrall cannot attack you. Throw solar grenades, push boss off the edge. Section 3: Equip Snipers, glitch through glass where you can shoot through it, but enemies can't shoot you. Complete objective. Section 4: Boss #2, have host quit out, enemies stop moving, finish off boss. Section 5: Oryx. Place infinite blinding bubbles at add spawns. Use some relic to bring down his shields. Find a heavy ammo glitch. Shoot X amount of nerfed Gally rockets. Loot: - Legendary Rocket launcher with Thrall Burn. - Legendary sniper called "White Hammer", because we don't discriminate. - Legendary AR with maxed RoF - Legendary Handcannon that applies a DoT when fired from the hip. Increased precision damage on hip-fire. - Legendary Shotgun with max range called "Weapon Balance", description "Git Gud Scrublord"

Also, you can't run, jump, or shoot unless you're holding the Sponge-worthy relic. Also, there's a ninja. And he's on fire. If you fail to defeat the burning ninja before he summons the Cudgel of Xanthor, the weapon you are holding is dismantled, and the whole team dies for some reason. Oh, and invisible walls & kill barriers. Lots of them.

7 Antworten1. Figure out a puzzle, start the raid. 2. Figure out a puzzle, get a drop. 3. Figure out a different puzzle, get a drop. 4. Figure out some other puzzle, get a drop. 5. Spend 5 hours grabbing a chest and switching characters for a checkpoint. 6. Figure out another puzzle, get a drop. 7. Wipe repeatedly to an overly glitchy boss, get a shader and an Emblem while the rest of your fireteam gets all kind of cool stuff.

3 AntwortenI want to have a cutscene after killing Oryx of your team having to destroy the dreadnought and have an awesome cutscene of you running out of the dreadnought and going to orbit whilst the dreadnought begins to explode.

3 AntwortenI would like to see a mix from last 2 raids and something we haven't seeing yet! No damage to last boss until you solve a puzzle or get some buff! Change of shield elements! Lots of adds! Different stages at boss fight! Like fighting in different rooms inside the Dreadnaught or the room changes its appearance! Enraged! (I don't know but probably will be in it like Crotas End) Summoning mini bosses and if you don't kill em in time boss regains full health! and last but not least... cinematics! I want to see and hear the story while fighting in! Not more grimoire history stuff! Oh and no cheese stuff! Hope Bungie learned from past DLCs!!!!! Like you need to work as a group to rekt the hell out of the ugly hive god Oryx!!!!!!! At the end I wanna see the guardians sitting down in front of a bonfire eating Oryx wings with buffalo sauce!

3 AntwortenWhatever it is, it will be spoiled right away by streamers and "sneak peaks" so nobody will be able to experience it blind unless they speed through the content and are one of the first to get to it.

3 AntwortenWell if they didn't use ominigal for a strike they could of used her as the 2nd boss. Although oryx can fly around the map so that's new we don't have any flying bosses. I just hope it's as good as vog or better. I didn't really like the crota raid.

4 AntwortenWell, Crota cancelled health regen. I'm going to assume oryx will take it one step further, and have trickle along with the negation of health regen. I can't imagine how we would possibly kill him, probably by making him smash his own ship apart
