I gotta say, this will be good. Halo rings, Galaxy destroying technology and time displacement are not allowed. Halo universe has access to crota swords. (no gorgons)

4 AntwortenIf I'm not mistaken, Destiny takes place in like the 2800's or something, while halo is 2540's? Anyway the time span between each world is HUGE. Comparing the two in a fight scenario is like pitting world war 1 tech to Gundam tech. Don't get me wrong, I love Halo but as advanced as it seems, Guardians are simply just ahead of Spartans in almost every way.

2 AntwortenDestiny, cabal go in space and blow up the halo universe just for getting in their way... Or vex travel in time and kill the creators of UNSC and the Spartans as they are childs
-
One Forerunner soldier in a power suit could take out all of Destiny. Let alone multiple Forerunners or even a Forerunner ship.
-
Is this even a debate? Halo would demolish all of Destiny with the UNSC alone, let alone the entire universe.

1 AntwortenMaster CHIEF IS INVINCIBLE! For real though, crota and atheon would just run around smashing things or teleporting them to alternate dimensions with weird red boxes that kill them.

Bearbeitet von 1: 7/28/2015 3:23:09 AMHalo>Destiny No contest. In every aspect. Even destruction. Spartans>Guardians. While guardians are too busy bitching about everything in this game, Spartans will get their massive opportunity. That's how I see it.

37 AntwortenIn halo if you read the lore there is something called a havoc nuke it has a blast radios of about 100 to 200 miles drop that on the last city Boom halo wins

NOVA Bomb. Nuff said.
It's basically a planet destroyer from UNSC
Halo a church game by Rod and Tod Flanders

11 AntwortenYou realize they could just go to the ark and fire th rings killing everybody right? Technically halo wins cause its a halo thing

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheSpaceGeneral: 7/28/2015 1:30:31 PMMy money's on Destiny. Here's why: So, we've ruled out Halos, planet destroying technology, and time travel out of the gates. First, let's look at the Guardians: These guys can slay gods when they work together. They are ghouls who return from the dead, as the Fallen say. However, I don't think they'll prove much challenge to the Halo universe. Then we have Awoken. We know they have fleet of ships, and the power to weaponise asteroids. They might provide some challenge to the Covenant, Forerunners, and UNSC. They might fall prey to the Flood easily, though. Exos are immune to Flood, but don't make up a specific "society." Then we have the Traveller. It is a god, a machine god immune to the Flood. I simply don't know how powerful it is. And maybe there are more like it. The enemies: Let's start with the most pathetic: Fallen. These guys will fall easy prey to the Flood, if the UNSC or Covenant don't kill them first. The Fallen are actually losing to Guardians, which aren't exactly a good fighting force. So far Destiny looks screwed... Then we get some harder hitting ones. The Hive The Hive have magic warp ships, and I'm fairly certain they're immune to Hive since they are basically shells of dead creatures. So, they have to fight everyone else. The Hive, they're going to make you come to their realm. A realm outside of space, which you'll probably have to do a raid to reach. Then you face a god, and Halo universe won't have the internet. They'll lose a good deal of soldiers from trial and error on Crota. Then we have the best military in Destiny: The Cabal. They have the power to blow up planets and move moons. And you know the ones we witness? They aren't the whole empire. They're just a detachment, they might only be a mining company. Let that sink in. The whole empire might have weaponry on par with even the Forerunners. However, they are 100% susceptible to the Flood. Then we have the Vex. We fundamentally don't understand them. Everything in Destiny flows towards Vex, past, future, and present. They convert whole planet to themselves, just look at Mercury. And they're immune to the Flood, since they're robots. In fact, they're almost a robotic version of the Flood. These guys haven't just mastered the laws of space and time. They've destroyed the laws. They could erase the UNSC and Covenant fleet at full power. They are a match for the Forerunners. We also have the Taken. These are an army of all that we fear, all our enemies, consolidated into one nightmare race. They have a fleet of spaceships, more firepower than even the Cabal. And what are they led by? The father of a god. Then we have some other weird stuff to cover: Ahamkara's are space dragons who were dead. Except they're not. I don't know what they could do to anything. We have the Anomaly on the map The Anomaly. We have no idea who or what made it, or what it can do. We have a box of planets in the Ishtar Sink Grimoire card. There is a race out there who have made sand grain sized models of thousands of planets. The galaxy is a tiny box to these things. And we have the two hardest hitters: The Nine. We don't know what they are. Theories include extra dimensional beings and creatures similar to Mass Effect's pLeviathans. Whatever they are, they're powerful. And the darkness itself. Oryx isn't the darkness. We're taking him out in year one. The Darkness is far, far worse than him. Half the population died within fifteen minutes of it first appearing. Not even the Flood have that capability. So, will the universe with a race who are treated as gods win over the universe that has flat out gods?

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von TehPwnShow: 7/28/2015 5:15:35 AMPrecursors and Forerunnners. Those two reasons alone means Halo wins BY FAR. If you dont know about the precursors or forerunners from halo then you shouldn't even be voting on this poll since this should only be for those very familiar with the lore of both games
-
The Halo rings are the least of Destiny's worries. In reality there is nothing Destiny has that has a chance against Halo. Anyone who knows Halo's lore will agree. However I still feel that Destiny's lore is still in infancy and could possibly grow stronger than some of Halo's elements. Only time will tell
-
The Covenant could just glass the Last City and Earth could become the next Reach (or Harvest).
-
This won't be any good...Look at the poll.
-
Halo, have to say it. I could take the Spartans much more seriously. I'm sad that destiny has so many story issues it doesn't stand a chance.

This poll depresses me
