Why so much hate towards gays and feminists on Bungie.net forums?
Which part of moderating does Bungie not understand. These forums represent the views of your players, and there attitudes don't make Bungie look good, if Bungie are turning a blind eye too it. Yet some of them clearly need to be brought up to the 21st Century....wtf. Check it out in the offtopic threads. Its awful.
This aint 4chan.
Edit - its not just in off topic, Judging by some of the replies not listed (thnx ninjas)
Edit II - thanks for all the contributors positive and negative, hopefully this issue gets addressed in the future by bungie, and people activly report those who discriminate.
Edit III - FYI Feminism is about both sexes being equal on all levels. Thats it. Its not a plan for women to take over the world lol, seriously the paranoia is real.

Because people suck, and when given a venue of consequence-less anonymity, they have an opportunity to truly be themselves. Ultimately the Internet has become a Wild West haven for these types, and the moderators are ill equipped to keep up with it.

However it is never used as a derogatory term in regards to a person. Or used in a sense that would insult homosexual people. I use gay as a word as another word for cheap or crappy. Which is a proper use of this word indicated by the dictionary. It's up to people to learn the different uses of words. And not for anybody to educate them.

I have twins newborn at home, I try hard to get them some milk out of my breast but since I am a male they will probably starve to death if my wife doesn't nurse them. 4 AntwortenFYI, feminism is not about equality between males and females. Why do u think the name "feminism" is mostly the word "feminine"? I have seen so-called feminists before and they r not about equality. I have seen a cookie sale by some feminists that had a slogan for promoting equality between the 2 sexes, and they sold cookies to women for 50 cents less than men. I have offered to help my neighbor (a woman) carry a heavy box to her car and a group of feminists were nearby and went ballistic saying crap like "she can do herself" and "she doesnt need help from a man" or "we will help her not you, you pig". I had never met those girls before but i have heard about them in my old neighborhood. They did not know me at all and i am not that fat. Soooo, why did they call me "pig" and other insults directed towards men? Granted, there are many women that call for equality and call themselves equal sexists (i dont know the actual term that describes that but its definitely not feminist) but theirs actions and attitude mean otherwise. This whole thing is stupid. This post is stupid and most of the people replying to this post r stupid. I think it was a big mistake on bungie's part to do another weekly update that concentrated on the dames of destiny clan when there was alot of hate towards the first time. I had a friend who was actually in it for a bit. She told me that there were many insults and stories of men "oppressing them". And guess wat? My friend is a lesbian. And she makes a few jokes about men too but thats all they r, jokes. She left a few days after she joined cuz of their negativity towards men. Bungie messed up again. No surprise. It seems thats all they do. Once in awhile they do something right like buffing autorifles and a few other weapons but then they also ruin it again by nerfing the black hammer and ice breaker when NO ONE called for it, ruin thorn and tlw by getting those specifically nerfed AND THEN another nerf cuz of the general hand cannons nerf and the ghally wolfpack rounds when instead of nerfing the ghally a little they should buff the truth rocket launcher enough to compete with the ghally.

I have an idea if you want things to be "equal." How about as a single male, age 34 with no aspirations of marriage or kids, my health insurance premiums no longer cover YOUR pregnancies, YOUR abortions, YOUR prenatal vitamins. That's right, a portion every single persons health insurance goes towards these treatments regardless of whether they have children. Or how about my property taxes be reduced since I don't have any children in YOUR public school? Or how about once every 2 years in my prime I can take 3 months off paid and have the rest of my co-employees cover my workload for MY "maternity" leave? Oh that's right everyone is willing to take take take on the hard working back of the single male. God forbid if that single man risked EVERYTHING he has to start a company, work and build that company into a success AND then when he hires employees listen to them bitch about how the unequal distribution of wealth. You want to be wealthy? DONT BE A -blam!-ING EMPLOYEE!!!
