How many of you are honest enough to admit that you use weapons that you don't like, just because you think you do better with them?
Please explain...

2 AntwortenI play with hawkmoon lately and i have to say im getting a feel for it. But pvp is ruined by Thorn. This gun is used by almost everyone. It is plain OP. Not to mention shotguns. Cant wait for the nerfs, i want a diverse crucible. Its just ridiculous that a scout rifle is outgunned by a Thorn at long range.

Play with what I want 80% of time. When I'm feeling competitive I'll equip what I know I play best with and try to vibe with that set up.

I play with hawkmoon and found verdict. I know there are "better" shotguns but I love the feel of FV and to me that matters more than a perfect roll or stats. Same with hawkmoon, it's all about the feeling. It's frustrating when I get trashed by TLW but I wouldn't enjoy playing if I used that gun, so why would I use it?

I use scout rifles and a Defender titan. Safe to say I use what I like. I've always been a medic/support, and scouts feel pretty nice.

I play with what I want. That doesn't mean I won't use a weapon I don't like because I am best with it. Sometimes I feel like doing very well, other times I want to use other weapons.

My favorite gun is Suros regime but I can't use it because the ttk is ridiculously long. I can hit all head shots hold it and the person will still have time to turn around and three thorn shot kill.

Most of the time i play with whats fun. Usually a sniper and pulse or auto. But if i really want to just wreck it i'll switch to the last word. Never thorn tho i suck with that thing.

I like to use random weapons sometimes in pvp. But when I'm doing banner or trails I want to compete, so I use weapons that I can get kills with.

I love TLW and will use it post-nerf anyway. I like using legendary hand cannons as well but they get torn up by exotics and any color pulse rifles these days. I'll prob use mostly Hawkmoon when/if I ever get one after TTK.

I try to use timepiece as it is actually good in crucible and because in sick of all the thorns. But if I'm struggling I have my thorn along, just in case

Thorn is the trendy crucible/trials gun everyone loves...and I'm sorry, but for me, there's only 1 gun worth using to kill other guardians with, and that's red death! Specially in those long corridors, kill, health, kill health...brutal for multikills, specially with the ammo capacity

I find all primaries equally boring to use, and I find blink shotgun to be the most fun thing to do in crucible. So I roll with Thorn and Blink+Shotgun, because it's both fun and effective.

5 AntwortenIt just so happens that's I absolutely love using TLW in pvp. How it fires and its speed fit with my play style. I would keep using it even if it was heavily nerfed tbh.

I play with what is fun for me. If I'm pitched against really good players, I'll swap over to TLW. Otherwise I'll be using SUROS, Hard Light and weapons in that tier.
