Why the -blam!- are people asking for 34 only on crota
If you do this, you are an ass.
Edit 1.. I have 3 34's myself just don't understand why some people are so unwilling to help new people..

Yeah I skip right over those type of post ... And to be honest 34 doesn't mean shit ... I was doing Crota last night with 33's and 34's that clearly had no clue what they were doing ... VoG as well

6 Antwortenbecause unlike most day one'rs they have never had to deal with a raid with blue weaponry and gear hence the large amount of insurance they need to help them get by...

Cuz they suck? 32 is good enough, you don't even need a full raid team, 3 people is more than enough for the entire raid.

4 AntwortenBecause they're bad. Well, technically, level 33 is an acceptable request since Crota is lvl 33- but apart from that it's more important to look for 365 weapon owners than level 34's. To those oblivious to how the raids work: • There is only [i]one[/i] benefit from being over-leveled: your armor rating, ie you can take slightly more damage before dying. As you reach the same level as the mobs you will do 100% of the maximum damage output, and you will take 100% of the damage dealt. • Being under-leveled means you deal less damage, and recieve more damage. • 365 weapons will do more damage. If you're under-leveled this will compensate slightly on your penalty. [b]BUT[/b]: >>>>> A level 30-31 with a 365 weapon will deal EQUAL damage to Atheon as a level 34 with a 365 damage, once again, the [b][i]only[/i][/b] difference is their armor rating.

Getting to lvl 30 was a real grind

1 AntwortenI agree its wrong, cause back in the day, we did Atheon hard as a 29, and that one 30, but now people can't even do it as level 30s and above. But at the same time bungee made it extremely easy to get to these new high levels, there's not much excuse to not be at those levels.

4 AntwortenYeah I used to run relic on my first character when I was level 30. Used to solo Mars with an icebreaker + golden gun then i'd have someone pick up the relic and I'd solo the other one. They were all my mates though so they didn't question it. Anyways what annoyed me was the other day one of my mates was like hey you want to do vog we have 2 spots available so I was like sure why not? I join the other party and they are complaining that this kid wants to use his level 30. They were all like nooo you cant you won't be able to kill anything and you'll get one shotted. I explained to them that it was done as level 28 and 29 back in the day and told the kid he can go on his 30. They kicked me and him so I invited him to my usual raid group and we 4 manned it with him on his 30 while those other guys were still stuck on oracles.

10 AntwortenAren't we leveled down to the enemy anyway? Anything above 30 on vog and 33 on Crota do the same amount of damage and take the same.

Lol I remember running the Vog on hard as a level 28 I'll take mostly anybody through a raid as long as your above 28
