FINAL ROUND NOW ONLY ACTIVATES ON HEADSHOTS

Edit 1: 300 replies, mabye now good snipers like Kjhovey, Patrick Casey, and True Vangaurd, will get to shine.
Edit 2: 600 replies, seems like most final round snipers don't like thier crutches gone.

2 AntwortenI use Praedyths Revenge and it will kill you with one head shot, crucible or IB. The "Final Round" perk that could one shot you, could do so on the body and that particular sniper rifle didn't need that round buff to kill you with a headshot anyways. They pretty much just made the "final round" perk go away.

Now the next best sniper roll is True Vanguard's Efrideet Spear: Double Down+Field Scout+Unflinching (or Outlaw) 24 bullets to start each match with, 6 bullets per magazine Now add armor that increases special/sniper ammo and you'll never run out of ammo in the crucible.

4 AntwortenThere's no freaking point of final round only triggering on headshots.....it's already a one hit kill unless they have a shield and you have a low impact sniper. Another useless perk

2 AntwortenIf someone wants to burn through their ammo just to get one kill, let em. They nerfed this perk when they reduce the amount of special ammo in crucible. It seems to me like their doing this for trials, but who knows.

Yay, I dont know if I have ever been happier with this game, I was getting tired of all the last round cheesers all over pvp. It really wont change the game on the highest competitive level, but it should be easier now to attempt the trials. I think final round was great as a perk but I think the change for the Snipers and the (Spear) is the correct change. My biggest problem was just how lazy of a sniper it encouraged you to be (but I cant blame my fellow players for using it I mean its a reward) Anyway if I had 1 problem with destiny it was all the cheese, and it seems like the first time in a while they actually made a change that REALLY needed to happen.

I like that the perk will make a return strictly because I want to done people off of revives with my chosen and not be forced to use LDR

I have final round however I don't use it like "final rounders" do by firing all shots out in one go but the update will basically mean my LDR has a pointless perk for PVP seeing as it can 1shot headshot anything.

Yea basically a useless perk now... I still have my void and arc spear for nightfalls with that burn. It hits like a truck

18 AntwortenSo it's a wasted perk in PVP because head shots are a 1shot anyway and a wasted perk in PVE because who uses the spear in PVE
