Skolas too hard
Skolas level is too difficult enemies take too long to kill ....an it takes one bullet more or less from there weapons to kill guardians...the high servitor are basically invincible ....the enemies weapons are stupidly over powered especially since they neva miss or they home in on the guardians an there are way too many enemies to deal with whilst fighting skolas .....6 shotgun shots at point blank shud kill anythin but somehow it doesnt........its gotten to the point where if u aint got the ghorn no1 wants to try it with u cuz its impossible.........whilst everythin else got stronger it like the guardians got nulled gameplay is only jus border lining fun an fightin skolas jus ruins the game

1 AntwortenFirst off, you don't need ghorn. I've completed it with players that have 331 rockets and 331 sniper rifles. It's not hard. You just have to kill adds, have at Skolas, pass essence, dismantle mines. Rinse and repeat. Also, rotate around the map when needed. You just have to have good teamwork and communication. Just be patient. You can do it.

Or you could use team work....kill adds ...then damage.....kill adds...damage....dismantle....repeat...show down stop getting mad.....man up breh

4 AntwortenYeah I had a whole topic on this myself... Pro players can do this but most average groups cannot (unlike the previous 2 raids, which were hard but very doable with a rag-tag group of 6) I'm an average player, but I've been on since launch. Got every exotic, and every previous raid weapon. But I've only beat him about 4-5 times now, and three of those completions got me no reward ZIP. NADA... No cipher, no primary. That's bullshit. Until they fix his difficulty, add checkpoints, and fix his drop rates so that he drops weapon every time like Crota does, I'm not playing him again. Yeah, The hardest challenge in the game gives you no reward... Whoever approved that **** needs to be banged in the head a few times

Bearbeitet von cobra_13: 7/14/2015 12:12:36 PMit's all about timing bud don't just try nuke him down kill adds off and attack him rinse repeat take poison when it's a 5 seconds and if u need to run away rotate the same way round the map makes it alot easier killed him loads of times. and gally is only used to keep adds under control

I've only killed him once, this was last week with the "dreaded" light switch. It wasn't that hard, we didn't have to use gally, but we did. One of my friends didn't have gally and he used red death, worked just as well. It wasn't hard, just need to know what you're doing

Its not a dps race. You don't need gally at all.

Use enough periods.......? But otherwise you just got to work at it and possibly even get better gear for the fallen encounter and hope the modifiers are better later on.

I did it with truth and still killed him. Yea the gally does a lot but it's not required

3 AntwortenYou have two very under leveled alternates and I question if your 33 can be 34 yet. I think I can safely assume you also don't have that strong an arsenal. You aren't ready for skolas plain and simple

My buddy and I found a guy on LFG and did the entire thing in 55 minutes. Learn to function better as a team and learn exactly how to kill skolas. Just shooting like crazy doesn't cut it. The fight requires timing and movement, more than most are used to for a boss. So not to sound like a dick but still being a dick. Git gud.

2 AntwortenStep by step. 1. Get to lvl 34, might I suggest Fallen PoE gear. 2. Get better teammates 3. Get better weapons. There. It's Not hard at all anymore. It was hard when it was solar burn or arc burn.

I've done Skolas 5 times this reset, the extra two were to help buddies, it's about communication, team work, and a lot of moving around. Even tonight, we died a lot, but didn't have a single wipe. Before I really learned it, just like VoG and Crota, it seemed hard, but now it's just getting the timing and rhythm down with each set of people I do it with. It's still easier than VoG with inexperienced players, it's amazing how many people still don't know how to play vault. Even with 4 extra levels over the enemies, I see people not staying together during oracles on Atheon, so they go blind, or leaving the portal and getting blind cause they stop and don't follow to the middle platform. If the wrong people get teleported, it's a wipe, but they can be carried through with being dead 20 seconds into the fight, 4 manning Atheon isn't hard if everyone knows what they're doing. I've taken people through Skolas their first time without any wipes, some with a few due to bad timing on mines or poison rotation. However, it isn't hard, but it takes patience and a little bit of time. Max weapons help too.

1 AntwortenI think if they needed anything it would be the amount of majors that spawn or their health/damage. It isn't impossible but I shouldn't have to use a ghorn 3x to down 1 major.
