True "Legendary" Status.
[u]***PLEASE ACTUALLY READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE REPLYING***[/u]
Since a good portion of the community believes we should be awarded a "Year One" emblem to pay and casually play DLC, I'm here to explain why this reward system could be enhanced a bit. Personally, I find it ridiculous to simply be rewarded an emblem to barely participate in just a small portion of what other players have worked very hard for and be able to call yourself a "Year One" legend. Most of what is required of the current "legendary" status consist mainly of achievements that aren't really even a challenge, just a participation pledge. In my opinion, year one players who truly worked their hardest to get to where they are in this game should be awarded something a bit more. [b]Note that I'm not saying that the original emblem should be removed[/b], rather I am suggesting that Bungie [u]should add an emblem for the more dedicated group of players, not keyword: elitist.[/u] Here are my requirements for the [u]bonus[/u] emblem the true 'legendary' players would need:

List of Triumphs:
3 Trials of Osiris Lighthouse Visits
Vault of Glass Completed on Hard Difficulty three times.
Crota's End Completed on Hard Difficulty three times.
Prison of Elders on Hard Difficulty (Level 35) completed three times.
King's Fall on Heroic Difficulty completed three times.
All Exotic Bounties Completed (Including Elder Ciphers)
3 Characters of Each a Different Class at 320.
Grimoire 4500+ (To show far completion balance between HoW, Dark Below, TTK)
All Subclasses Fully Upgraded
All Factions at Rank 4:
(Vanguard, Crucible, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult, Eris Morn, Queen's Wrath, Variks)
Iron Banner Rank 5 achieved at least once.
100% Completion of All Achievements/Trophies (Including Flawless Raider!)
Maxed Out at least 10 Exotic Amor pieces, and 10 Exotic Weapon Pieces
Obtained at Least 30+ Different Pieces of Raid or Prison of Elders items.
All Ghosts Found
All Calcified Fragments Found
Completed 6+ Public Events
Completed 12+ Patrol Missions

1 AntwortenIf you noticed the Moments of Triumph goals aren't about being elite as this game they are about experiencing the whole game. Each goal represents a facet of the game and completing them all means you've experienced all year 1's content.

I've played this game since Christmas and in the first month I was as good as the people I was playing with all fully maxed I really don't care for grimoire because I know I'm good at this game i be completed the raids at least 50 times each and I can't be blamed on my bad luck with bounties

1 AntwortenI would agree with you if you didn't have asshats making it a requirement to join in game activities. Every weekend u see hundreds of posts "must have exotic emblem" for ToO. This is the main reason ghorn was nerfed also.

1 AntwortenI'm with you on this one and I wouldn't even be able to get this new emblem yet lol. I saw some post by a dad on here yesterday about how his son was crushed he couldn't get the "moment of triumph" emblem. It's just an emblem, it'd be cool to have, but not having it won't kill anyone lol

13 AntwortenLOL sounds like someone is salty that they wasted a bunch of time on trials only to not reap any lasting rewards. Glad i didnt waste my time on that shit. Still gots my triumphs emblem that lets everyone know im super 1337. No need for any elitist bullshit emblem that is only avail for sweaty tryhards.

There should be an elitist emblem. It was relatively too easy to complete activities and achieve moderately high grimoire as a Christmas noob, on top of being in college and working during the summer. Hell, my friend started in HoW and qualified for the triumphs and VIP in about 7 weeks.

And the reason Bungie did it this way is because the community isn't helpful at all I been looking threw the recruitment forums for help on ps4 to beat skolas and everyone laughed at me not one helpful person just a bunch of trolls could you imagine it being too get to the light house. Think of the cause and effect trials would be flooded with players good and bad trying to get to the light house and once the players who go to the light house 3+ times won't want to help or play trials for awhile for the reason on how long it took.

9 AntwortenThat's not a year one emblem, that's an elitist emblem. Should be considered so. I don't mind if you want to play more and more just to be one of the top minority and have your own emblem or even shader for that matter. Just don't call it a year one, it isn't it.
