Why would I care about people having the same gun as me? I would rather play on a level playing field rather than have unskilled players out DPS me because they got a drop that I haven't due to pure luck and no skill. I play for fun but its not fun when I get told that I can't do endgame content with someone because I don't have a -blam!-ing ghorn, even though I'll get double the kills of that person on any piece of PVE content and I will pull off the riskiest but bad ass revives you will ever see.
