I disagree. scouts are fine the way they are, and i can still kill someone in under a second using my Gheleon's.

3 AntwortenI think scout rifles are fine, so are handcannons and so is everything else. Assault rifles have always been more of a support weapon. Some one scouting the headshots, whilst destroying the body with assault rounds. I think the only thing lacking is actual teamwork in most crucible matches. If you like lone wolfing play rumble, and use your hand cannons, shotties. Whatever, but control and skirmish it's good to have a balanced team. More people need mics and team player spirit! And as for complaining about buffs and merfs, just stop already. A buff won't make you instantly better with the weapon, I think a lot of people need to accept they're just not as good as they think they can be, it doesn't happen overnight. Just keep practicing or just accept it as a little fun, knowing there's people waaay better out there and more proficient with the weapons. Not only will these buffs help you, they will help those that kick ass. Circling back to more whining about nerfing. Yeah, well that's my opinion!

5 AntwortenThe Scholar is already a three shot headshot. Scout rifles are fine, in Crucible the maps are just too small to make them ideal (except for the combined arms playlist).

5 AntwortenThe scholar does damage equal to a low impact hand cannon but with better accuracy, range and handling, if that gets more damage it will become one of the top weapons in the game as its only weakness was its 49 body shots

The best way to balance auto rifles: -Bring the critical damage multiplier back to 1.5 (right now it's 1.25). -A slight damage boost against enemies in PvE (say, 15%) -Drastically increase the stability of high RoF, low impact weapons such as Atheon's Epilogue by 50%, but reduce the overall range of this auto rifle archetype to make them function more as close quarter SMGs(think about Halo 2's SMG) -Small stability boost to mid RoF, mid impact auto rifles such as the Hard Light or Monte Carlo by 10-15%. As for Hand Cannons, they're fine the way they are. The only issue is that the exotic hand cannons, primarily the Last Word and Thorn (Hawkmoon is fine), are much easier to use than any other legendary hand cannon. I've got some good ideas on how to balance the Thorn and Last Word, but how these two hand cannons are handled is entirely up to Bungie. My only suggestion is for the Last Word, and that is to fix its exotic perk to where it won't trigger when ADS. Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles are perfect right now.

37 AntwortenDon't buff scouts,bring Hand Cannons and Pulse Rifles down to them. On my opinion, the TTK for Scout Rifles is perfect. It is right where they should be in this game.

4 AntwortenScouts are perfectly fine. They just need to tweak hand cannons (specifically thorn) and buff auto rifles. The scholar is a 3 shot kill at even longer ranges.
