PSA: Shoot Off the Fallen Walkers Pulse Gun First!
Did you know that you can shoot off the fallen walkers pulse cannon? Its not really worth worrying about in lower level activities but in the nightfall or higher strikes for example, if you shoot the pulse canon off first, then the walker is much easier to deal with. I much rather just hammer the walker with gunfire and occasionally dodge his main cannon fire than take all that splash damage that his pulse cannon gives out, especially when Arc Mods are active. I always make sure to get rid of it first but never see anyone else doing it so this is my PSA for the day. If you already knew this then good for you, if not, then now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

You can shoot off any part it. Same with hive,fallen, and cabal ships

1 AntwortenSame with the cannons and grenades on drop ships. Especially on an Omnigul strike with arc burn. Three shots with a sniper shoot off the guns, 2 the thing that drops grenades.

1 AntwortenI've done this before but it seems inefficient because by the time the gun gets shot off he's at half health or lower AND it doesn't count as a critical hit so your doing very little damage the whole time. I wish it counted as critical then people would do it more often.

Did this for a while. But just stopped due to the lack of fireteam participation with it. No one realises this until its too late, then....*guardian down*

It's faster and easier to just climb up to the ledge behind the walker in the Taniks Strike.

It is very worth it on Arc Burn. Otherwise not much bother.

I knew it but I just go for the legs anyway. I can dodge the splash damage and it takes too long to shoot it off.

You can do it to fallen dropships as well which is handy to note in arc burn nightfalls as well.
