HOW TO TELL IF YOUR GOOD AT CRUCIBLE!!!
Short post, youll quickly know if your good at crucible. [b]A positive KD does not indicate skill in crucible so much as it indicates the frequency on use of op things.[/b] So how do you tell if your good or bad at crucible?

If you go into a [b]random[/b] crucible game (NOT trials/iron banner) and you use any of these- your bad.
-Shoulder charge -Homing sticky nades
-Thorn -Shot package shotties
-Final round snipers -Ice breaker (Which is the snipers equivalent to training wheels on a bike)
-Using Ghorn (at all) -Corner camping w shotties

So if you do any of that in random pub matches, it means your a sweaty tryhard with no skill because you dont use overpowered weapons/things you [b]rely[/b] on them to [b]carry[/b] you through the crucible. How do you tell if your good at crucible? You dont do that, your good. Plain and simple.
Oh and for those of you who are about to rage at me saying im wrong and that your so good, im going to do a magic trick on you. In this magic trick, I am going to telepathically read through the computer screen what you use in crucible, with a very high accuracy. This is what you use:
-Primary- Thorn, LW, HM
-Special- Matador 64, Partycrasher +1, Felwinters
-Heavy- Any rocket launcher, or BTRD

10 AntwortenHello fellow community member! Before I begin I must apologize for the sheer length of my comment and hope that you would take the time to read it. It appears that, by your standards good sir, that I am "bad". As you can imagine this realisation is most upsetting to me. I am rather fond of my shotgun and rocket launcher and to have someone inform me that because I utilize them that my PvP skills are lacking is most disheartening to me. Mind you, my feeling are not brought on by apparent lack of skill but by your thesis. If I may digress, what is your reason to play destiny? If your like me (and most other players) you'd answer that you play it because you enjoy doing so. It's fun; plain and simple. Now, I'm assuming that the reason you create this thread was to dissuade others from using these weapons or tactics in the hopes that your gaming experience would become better, which is fine. However, attacking your fellow community members and how they play as well as calling for them to stop using their favorite weapons because you don't want them to is absurd. You'd like them to have less fun because you want to have a greater ability to enjoy the game. It is very disheartening to see my fellow guardians insulting and assaulting each others skills and abilities because they feel agitated. I implore you to find a more proactive and engaging way to sway the minds of others. Instead of using negative words and narratives, use encouragement and words that uplift those around you. A better way to have convinced people of your viewpoint would have been simply to issue a friendly challenge. Claim that guardians can have more fun utilizing less common weapons in crucible. Challenge them to get massive kill streaks with guns like Necrocasm, no land beyond, and the Mida Multi tool. I think you have that better results are achieved this way. Have a great rest of your day fellow community member.

I use shoulder charge, rockets, and the party crasher because they are fun. I'm pretty sure you used them too so don't be a hypocrite.

I suck at crucible. I use last word and a random shotgun. I don't claim I'm good. I get maybe six kills a game. But I've got better since I started, where I maybe get one kill per game. Just because you keep getting killed by the same weapon doesn't mean you can whine about people being scrubs or whatever insult you're using. They're good and effective guns, they're there for us to use. Hopefully with TTK there will be more to choose from so you guys can stop whining about the same thing.

Above all of these are firebolt grenades. They have more DoT then Thorn, auto tracking and have the ability to go around corners. At times [i]one[/i] firebolt can kill you even with full health and shields. Firebolt grenades are a plague. One hit from a firebolt and [i]one shot from any gun in the game excluding the first gum in the game[/i] will kill you. Before you start with with arcbolts...don't.

I like pulling out my final round sniper, doming a couple of people, and then surprising the guy that blink rushes me with a one shot kill to the toe. I likewise enjoy using my shot package Felwinters to one shot someone jumping far away from me like skeet. I also enjoy attempting to make the most ridiculous sticks that I can, just like I used to in Halo. However, I do not like hand cannons. I used to, and then everyone decided that the only way to play even one lowly game of clash was with the above weapons and some exotic hand cannon. I tend to use other weapons; I really enjoy scout and pulse rifles. When these overpowered weapons are gone, I'll move on to something else I deem fun, such as plowing someone into the dirt with my sword or blowing them to pieces with my Necrochasm. I don't care if my weapons are cheap and OP, or shitty to the extreme. I don't care if my KD is a .5 or a 2.0. Neither weapons nor KD determine skill. Skill is determined, not by how you win or lose, but by how you play the game. I play crucible to enjoy myself, and if I'm not enjoying myself, then I'm not doing all that great at playing the game. If I'm sucking running around with NLB and vestian dynasty, but am having fun, then I am still winning.
