Alright, the "gay rights decision" is long gone, no need to make a "pride shader" about it.

I'm just gonna post this sonner rather than later: We do not need a "gay/pride" shader/class/item. We know that historic moment where gay marriage was legalized, cool. But days have passed, and it's over. Let's focus our attention elsewhere. The gay rights decision was a political event. Now I don't want someone coming onto Destiny and finding something offending to them, and then another person gets happy and feels promoted, perhaps special. But let's get the point straight: It's nothing special. It used to be on that historic day, but it's over, out of sight and out of mind just like everything else. No need for attention. I realize some people's excitement, but other people find Destiny a place to escape the real world and entertain themselves.
TLDR: Real worlds and virtual worlds don't mix well. Destiny is meant to entertain not to inform people of political/disputed topics and issues.
Some logical thinking here:
1)Don't call out the person, your attention is on the issue at hand in most cases.
2)Use FACTS, not sympathetic placeholders.
3)Be bold to back down and say you're wrong, admit things and don't be a coward.

Earlier in a debate with him he eventually conceited to my argument and revealed that having a "Gay" pride shader is not political and he admitted that his relevancy to simply having something free to all that represents the LGBT community is nowhere similar to having a "Gay Marriage" shader. For everyone else to read, ask yourself this. How is a shader that everyone is entitled to that represents this historic moment in any way propaganda? It's promotion for something that has been dealt with and is official now, so is there really any point to arguing over something that has already become official? His statement "The best way to clean up a mess? Don't make one." is complete flawed logic due to the hypocrisy in itself by creating this topic to debate in the first place. He's creating the only mess apparent. According to him, this game is purely for entertainment. Yet we have all seen, Bungie is a very active political entity in their efforts to helping in the Nepal Earthquake donation pool. Apparently this OP believes whatever he believes to be true should become fact about this game. Let's show this moron that he's the only one creating a mess here. -Symp
