Bearbeitet von DatFruit: 7/2/2015 10:26:43 AMIt's priced that way since bungie/Activision know destiny fanboys will buy whatever they shit out no matter what. Now while they say "I'll do whatever I want with my money" or "it's chump change" that basically tells them "hey I'll buy basically whatever for any price, and I'll defend you on whatever"

1 AntwortenThey're testing how hard they can milk this thing with the lowest amount of effort(read: overhead cost) possible At this point if they included one new gun and one mission(pick a mission and run it in reverse), enough people would superfan it and pony up the cash to make it profitable. When folks decide that they prefer to play another game then one of 2 things happens 1) They bail on it. destiny is dead or 2) They put much much more effort into multiple aspects of the game making it what it truly could be: One of the best games ever It's dicey. They're really looking for an income stream off Destiny and instead of microtransactions for cosmetic items they're doing crazy stuff like overpriced DLCs, missions behind a 3rd party beverage mfr(WTF???!!) paywall, etc Idk. I'm a casual but i have a shit load of disposable income(that's probably why i'm a casual btw). If i see the same stuff in the reviews then i'm good, destiny has provided amazing entertainment for very cheap and i'll say my goodbye. Personally I'm thinking Destiny 2 will have everything nailed down. However, if people pay for subpar shit............ehhhhhh well, you are telling them that it's ok to do so. I must say, i own the 2 DLCs so i'm right in there with everyone else. But Bungie finally beat some sense into me and i won't pick up TTK unless the majority of critic reviews are positive.

Bearbeitet von BOBAKthePRODIGY: 7/2/2015 9:27:57 AMHonestly....who knows. First 2 DLCs sucked now they want to charge double for an expansion? Why, cause of their fabulous track record so far?? Bungie is completetly out of touch.
-
1 AntwortenWhat do you mean "still" it hasn't even come out yet. U don't even know how much content there will be.
-
Because people are going to pay it for it no matter what the price is
-
BECAUSE MONEY
-
1 AntwortenI think it would be funny and sad if Bungie Elder Ciphers missions in TTK. You have to turn in a mission item and wait (1 to 7 days) for the Vanguard to decipher it to continue the short story missions and you cant just join your friends to get it over with, nope you just patrol or crucible around for a bit or work on your other characters. Seems like something they would do to make the DLC seem longer.
-
2 AntwortenBecause people are dumb a love riding corporate cok and don't have the slightest idea what value means anymore
-
7 AntwortenI'm sorry...did you expect them to lower the price after they already put it on sale? Doesn't work that way. Also, its a perfectly fine price. You think $100-$140 in a year is expensive? I spend more per year on my WoW subscription.
-
It's $40 because that's the way they priced it.
-
1 AntwortenDeal with it we have to pay $70 for the BASE dlc in Aus... Srsly tho. Gawsh you mericnz
-
3 AntwortenIt's a business!

13 AntwortenBearbeitet von grundlemusk: 7/2/2015 2:55:09 AMEveryone needs to just stfu. If the expansion isnt the worth the money to you, don't buy it. It's real -blam!-ing simple.
-
15 AntwortenPut it this way destiny on xbox one is 25 GB the taken king is 40 GB. That's a fuc.king huge chunk of DLC
-
7 AntwortenWhy is your name GlenBard? Why are the severs laggy? Why are tacos so good?
-
1 AntwortenJust shut up and don't buy then if it's "too much"
-
3 AntwortenDude. You've spent like 5-6 days on this game. That's like 120-144 hours. And you'll probably spend at least a good day playing ttk. If $40 isn't worth 24 hours of enjoyment to you... That's crazy.
-
7 AntwortenTTK is essentially Destiny 2.0. It's $20 off. Thanks Bungie!
lol
-
1 AntwortenWhy is it £40, should be under £30 -blam!- activision
-
2 AntwortenI can't remember an expansion costing more then half the price of the original game. 30 dollars I can live with but, the current price just seems like they are seeing how much they can get away with.
-
7 AntwortenI thought they made it $20
-
4 AntwortenLmao did u say super expensive? Had to stop reading there, what r u 13? And the dlc is 40 not 60
-
13 AntwortenAs far as I see it, we have no reason to complain about the price, since nobody knows the quality and contents of TTK. Granted, judging by the past DLC's I understand the people are hesitant, but if you think it's too expensive, just wait for the release and check out some reviews before you pull the trigger.
-
1 AntwortenBecause it's supposedly a new campaign.
-
How do you think they are going to make money for the next 10 years? You don't want to pay then this is not the game for you.
-
If you don't like the pricing don't buy it.
