THE TAKEN KING - UK PRICE PETITION
If you think the UK (and other countries) price should be the equivalent in pounds as it is in US dollars sign below. I'm sure most UK players would be happy with a price around £30. I paid £40 for the full game and now I'm having to pay £40 for The Taken King, which has much less content. Why?!
Hopefully we can get enough signatures and Bungie will then address the issue by reducing the UK price or explaining why we are being BLATANTLY ripped off in the UK and other non-US countries. Have they not heard of exchange rates?!

Never going to happen. Your country has different tariff laws and imports are always more because of that. Also the VAT drives up the price a lot. You want a cheaper game. Have a UK game company make one. Then export it to the US and we'll be the ones whining about our laws and taxes, etc...

Does it matter you're not going to change their minds... Yea it's more expensive but actually gives a -blam!-? I don't. They've not all sat round at BUNGIE and think I know we'll -blam!- the British off but making them pay more, it's probably more well it's £40 as its $40... There's not a whole lot of difference really.. Unless you want to be pandantic and say it's gonna be £28.74? For the taken king... I don't care £40 is less than an afternoons work for months of entertainment go to the cinema and see if you spend any less?

I think what gets me the most is the price of the digital download, how can something with no packaging and no transportation charges cost the same, if not more than a physical copy?

Exchange rates????? You're a bit of a turd aren't you! Everything in Europe is more expensive than the u.s. Because of the stronger economy! Basically we get paid more, so everything is more expensive, you can thank the unions for all the strikes to increase wages

I paid £28 for mine. Bought it as soon as it was available, and shortly afterwards they upped the price to £40.
