Kills with TLW and Thorn don't count in PvP.
Sorry, but the guns are so Op it's just ridiculous. The guns do all the work. Kind of like baseball players and steroids. It's not the skill the players have it's the steroids they use to be good. Same for TLW and Thorn. It's not the skill it's the guns. Any noob could pick up a Thorn and get lots of easy kills. I don't know why Bungie nerfed autos, and fusions into the ground but let TLW and Thorn completely own the crucible.
Edit: I have both Thorn and TLW. I don't use them. It would be like putting training wheels on a bike. I don't need Op weapons to help me play good.
Edit 2: I find it amusing that almost all the negative comments i'm getting are from people who use Thorn and TLW. Not surprising. Most people in the crucible use those Op weapons. So i'm getting a lot of hate. That's Ok. Come at me haters. The nerf is just a matter of time, so enjoy those easy no skill kills while you can.
Edit 3: Bungie is nerfing thorn and the last word. HA HA........HA HA HA.........BLaHAHAHaHaHaHaHaHah. Better put that thorn in the vault and learn some skills, kids.

TLW is powerful but not OP, you can easily counter it at a range higher than medium. Thorn can snipe on the hand making its range unbalalnced

I ve used both tlw and thorn. A lot. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they are both op and I have stopped using them because of it. I love hc so I tried out several legendary ones and finally settled on a perfectly rolled Red Hand IX.

1 AntwortenHahaha baseball players and steroids? Pretty sure they still have to make contact with a 95 mph fast ball.....85 mph sliders and curves to hit the ball.....pretty sure that takes some insane skill but thats just me thinking out loud

I'm going to chime in here, not about Thorn or TLW, but about baseball. They have done a study about the sport and hitters, and a large part of what they do is learning or training themselves to instinctively recognize the delivery of the pitcher to know where and when to swing. It's all incredibly skill based, regardless of how strong someone is, they still have to be capable of recognizing the pitcher's throwing motion, and where they release the ball and correlate that with their swing. As for pvp... I tried out the iron banner the other night out of boredom. I rarely pvp, and I don't claim to be good at it. Got killed a lot by Thorn. Won a shootout with a Thorn-user with the TFWPKY 1969 I was randomly using because my other hand cannons were all on my hunter. Honestly, I used scout rifles a fair amount. But, as I said, I'm not good at pvp, and won't ever claim to be lol.

I agree they both are quite nice in pvp. But I only use it because it's all I see and get mowed down by so I return the favor. IMO you do what you think you need to in order to make the game fun for you and if that means using either of those people are entitled to it, we just have to do do the same
