Kills with TLW and Thorn don't count in PvP.
Sorry, but the guns are so Op it's just ridiculous. The guns do all the work. Kind of like baseball players and steroids. It's not the skill the players have it's the steroids they use to be good. Same for TLW and Thorn. It's not the skill it's the guns. Any noob could pick up a Thorn and get lots of easy kills. I don't know why Bungie nerfed autos, and fusions into the ground but let TLW and Thorn completely own the crucible.
Edit: I have both Thorn and TLW. I don't use them. It would be like putting training wheels on a bike. I don't need Op weapons to help me play good.
Edit 2: I find it amusing that almost all the negative comments i'm getting are from people who use Thorn and TLW. Not surprising. Most people in the crucible use those Op weapons. So i'm getting a lot of hate. That's Ok. Come at me haters. The nerf is just a matter of time, so enjoy those easy no skill kills while you can.
Edit 3: Bungie is nerfing thorn and the last word. HA HA........HA HA HA.........BLaHAHAHaHaHaHaHaHah. Better put that thorn in the vault and learn some skills, kids.

Nope. Your analogy is wrong. The steroids don't do all the work, but they do enhance ones skill. Same with Thorn and TLW. With you reasoning, someone can just hold down your respective button to shoot, and get kills instantly. That is wrong. You need to move around, you need some sort of skill to be able to land the shots.

Here's my take on it, yes these weapons are imbalanced as heck in Crucible. People can argue up and down that they're not, but the numbers don't lie. Number like ttk (time to kill) values, times exponentially lower than the overwhelming majority of weapons, and number like how many Thorns/Last Words were used as primaries in the TOO when winning is all that matters, those numbers taken from a wide variety of sample sizes. Quite frankly, arguing against their imbalance is difficult if not for all intents and purposes impossible. BUT, there's no reason to look down on players who use them. You can't honestly blame the player for wanting to use the weapon that gives them the best possible chance at winning gunfights. The problem is on the developer end, not the gamer end. Balance is the responsibility of those who write the code. That being said, consistently relying on Thorn and TLW in the Crucible is probably the singe most ineffective way at increasing your overall player skill. That's why out of probably the last 500 games I've used TLW only a handful of times (against full on sweaties that are skilled). We will continue to see these weapons as the most prominent crucible primaries all the way up until the patch finally comes to nerf them. And I'm 99% sure it will happen. The best thing you can do to prepare for when that happens is to holster those weapons as much as possible. They don't play like other weapons, so you'll be at a huge disadvantage when that nerf comes. My two cents, for what it's worth... well... it's probably worth about two cents.

If i get grimoire from kills from either gun - it counts. If a guardian dies by one of these guns - it counts. Stop ya whining.
