3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Currrrtis Blow: 6/21/2015 10:23:57 AMEdit: you're talking pounds. Forget my post. That's bullshit. You should get to pay the Americna dollar price in pounds.
-
1 AntwortenIt's taxation set by the UK government. Not exchange rates as most people are alluding to.
-
Different economies, there is a lot more to pricing than exchange rates, it is just how the world works.
-
3 AntwortenEconomy and income rate. The value of the pound has little to do with it.
-
Because there are less of you than people in the states. As soon as the market gets smaller for an item the price increases. It's the same in Australia.

2 AntwortenTea and crumpet tariffs

1 AntwortenTake the hint UK!
-
American companies don't take into account your money is worth more, of this is just a opinion
-
1 AntwortenBecause freedom that's why
no, but really that's -blam!-ed up. Idk if there's any tariff imposed or something but I don't think it's right.
-
Why do european always pay much more for games/consoles/hardware? Because we can and the companies knows this.
-
There's a reason Large corporations call us Treasure Island ! .... We shall always be over priced to what we earn,

11 AntwortenBearbeitet von doomvshalo: 6/21/2015 9:45:55 AMIf there overcharging then people are going to be put off. Many of my friends refuse to pay £40 for a single dlc, it's bad enough when we have to pay £40 for a game but it's nowhere near as bad as paying for dlc that is usually on disc, it's bad enough that the game lacks content then they want to keep charging us for barely anything.
-
2 AntwortenChange your location on your device to USA, with a proxy on your internet or something, everything in store will be USA prices.
-
3 AntwortenFor the price of dlc so far there hasn't been that much content imo. So I'm going to leave the next one and use that £40 for another game. I have loved this game but I'm getting very bored now. On to my next adventure!!!
-
I think us Aussies have a crappier deal than you guys. We always pay too much for everything, life's tough here on struggle island.
-
24 AntwortenIt's not that they're paying more it's because the pound is worth more than the dollar lol get gud at economics scrub.
-
You would have to be -blam!-ing mental to buy digital games...some games are like £60 for a game you can get in tesco for £40 or less.
-
3 Antwortenwhy does it matter? do you guys get paid really low over there or something?
-
2 AntwortenYou know this really requires an indepth understanding of economics. Your view only scratches the surface and is very superficial. For shiťs and giggles, google the minimum wage beer index. http://qz.com/174700/how-many-hours-of-minimum-wage-work-it-takes-to-earn-a-beer/ You can buy a beer in puerto rico for 12 minutes of work. Go to Georgia and it takes 15 hours. Why? Cost of living? Wage? Beer cost? There are so many variables and factors. It isn't restricted to Destiny. Also you can google the big mac index. Education is cool Because knowledge is power! Captain planet!

Cause your not american

Our economy is different. I wish u guys didn't have to pay as much as u do :/
-
Because you got the London look.
-
We pay extra so that the Queen can game for free.
-
27 AntwortenYou have to remember, US prices don't include tax, it is charged afterwards. UK price includes 20% VAT. $80 + 20% VAT = $96. Then on top of that, living in the UK you should know by now that your country loves to charge extra taxes for the most ridiculous things (I'm looking at you door knob tax and window screen tax), so there are probably extra taxes on top of that charged for the content delivered to you. And finally as others said, prices often depend on the strength of the currency, and average wages. UK currency is worth more, and your average wages are higher, so your prices are higher as well. If you want lower prices, go move somewhere like Mexico. Their prices are lower than US.
