Who else bought gjallarhorn week 2?
Title says it all. Just curious how many fellow guardians made that amazing purchase.
Edit 1: I realize not that some of you many not qualify since you started after it was sold and I apologize for not including that option.
Edit 2: Please post why you did or didn't buy it in the comment section below. As for me It's kind of a long story but made short I bought it cause I already had sunbreakers form the first week, I did the math and figured at my current drop rate for strange I would still be able to buy a gun next week if I needed, and I knew eventually I would want to collect every exotic.
Edit 3: Common reasons people didn't buy it.
[spoiler]1.) Not enough strange coins
2.) Didn't know who xur was
3.) Wanted a primary more
4.) Started later after xur sold it.
5.) And then there's those few who by some god given luck managed to hack/break/work for bungie to get it before xur sold it. Anyone who did this I'm calling you all our you bunch of lag switching hackers! [/spoiler]

1 AntwortenThe reason they are needing Gjallarhorn is because if you try and do a raid in a group on the forums without one they won't take you, I'm quoting here "crota hard max Gally only" "vog atheon Gally must be pro" how do you expect for people to understand what there doing if no one will help them understand it, how are people supposed to get decent gear without the Gjallarhorn?

Helm of Inmost Light seemed like a better purchase, that and I couldn't (still can't) stand the lollipop stick on the launchers.

Three of my friends bought it so I figured I didn't need to LOL. Should have bought it, as it took eight months before it dropped in the wild. Now I have five.

Well at first I wasn't going to buy it because I remember, at least it seemed like it to me, that everyone wanted to get the Gjallarhorn so I thought it wouldn't be that cool to have if everyone was going to have it. But I ended up saying -blam!- it and bought it anyway, only to use it once then leave it in the vault to gather dust till about two months into VOG when I final found out that it was OP.

Didn't know about Xur until a couple of months in. I think I saw him in week 2 but didn't realise he was timed or the benefit of what he sold. In fact there is a lot about this game that I only learnt from when I started on the forum just before Christmas. I don't normally do game forums.

Played Destiny since day one but haven't owned it until this past February. Since then, I've technically gotten roughly a half dozen of them. I played on friends accounts (covering during bathroom breaks and such) and officially, my first one (on friends account) was through crucible. My second one, on my own account, was the following day from a legendary engram. My first exotic weapon too lol my exact response to when I got the engram was "a heavy weapon one? I don't need that crap. I need an armor one!!!" After that, it's Willy nilly all over. the place. Strikes, one more crucible drop, and one crota drop. All in all, I'm excited for the nerf on this weapon. The fact people say it's necessary to best certain bosses is dead wrong. Watch 3 titans melee Skolas to death....really necessary.

Had no interest. Ive gotten around 6-7 of them my first one was on that first hidden chest on the lamps cp for crotas end. Back when exotics dropped

Almost passed on it as I wasn't a huge fan of rocket launcher... But it just looked so pretty I had to buy it! I've gotten like a dozen since lol.
