well I'd continue running the VoG if I were you for Fatebringer, or even just Templar if that's all you want. it's definitely one of the greatest weapons in the game. Not my personal preference, but it's still a great gun. there's gonna be people saying 50/50 shit abt Crota gear. I think a lot of Crota gear is GREAT for [b]PvE[/b] content. Normal Crota awards armor, mats, & special + heavy weapons only. Hard Crota awards armor, mats, primaries. plus the shaders, ships, sparrow, etc etc. but special/heavies cannot be obtained thru Crota hard. Crota gear when fully upgraded w. Radiant shards will get you to 32. All vendor gear now automatically puts you at 32, it's essentially pointless running Crota right now trying to acquire, & then max out the gear. It's just so much unnecessary grind, especially if your warlock is your mind...because bro, Crota lock gear is the most hideous shit I've seen in destiny...the helmet is alright, everything else...is outrageous to say the least. PoE gear is shit man. I mean, run it for sure. You might like some, but it's inferior in every way compared to Crota & VoG gear. Trials gear is great. I love it. The weapons, warlock armor is the best in the game in my opinion. Okay; here's my list for you. anything I list is only obtainable in the section it's under. Crota normal: [b]blackhammer[/b]. One of the best snipers in the game...hands down. Swordbreaker. Great void PvE shotgun. Light of the Abyss. Quickest charge rate on a fusion rifle in-game right now. obsolete to shotguns though, as they've received a mean buff if you haven't already learned that. Hunger of Crota. Rocket launcher is okay, I prefer Hezen Vengeance. It's alright if you need tracking though, good PvE launcher. All of these drop only from the final CP, killing Crota. Each run you will have only one chance at each of these. so it make take a bit to get what you want...Blackhammer is easily the best of all of them though. I would recommend getting them all under your belt. the machine gun is absolute trash. if you don't like fusions, then don't sweat that either. If you've got a launcher you already like a lot, then Hunger isn't necessary either. Especially right now being you can roll any launcher for tracking. It's really not that great. Crota hard: all of the primaries are great man. Oversoul Edict-Pulse rifle. drops at Abyss CP. Abyss Defiant-Auto Rifle. Drops at Bridge CP Word of Crota-Hand Cannon. Drops from beating Crota himself, final CP. Fang of Ir Yut-Scout Rifle. Drops from beating Crota himself, final CP. These weapons are largely preference I guess. I think they're all great. some people would say otherwise, but Word is one of my favorite weapons in the game hands down. Trials weapons primarily only have uses in PvP content. there's not a weapon that I've gotten from it that I'd particularly take into PvE over anything else...getting a 9-0 card permits you going to Mercury & opening a special chest which awards elemental primaries. so those would be useful for PvE, but the perks are still PvP geared. The Scholar-Scout rifle, is great for PvE though. Slow firing, great stability & range. I love it for PvE & PvP. Any adept weapon I guess would have it uses in PvE depending on the burn it comes with. So for Trials, I don't think there's anything you specifically need to go for. If you're a big PvPer as well, then I'll list what I think are the things to go for from Trials. The Scholar-Scout rifle. The Messenger-Pulse rifle. PvP BEAST... Astral Horizon-Shotgun. Tomorrows Answer-Rocket Launcher. AMAZING PVP Infinite Theorem-Machine Gun. My favorite PvP machine gun. The Summoner-Auto rifle. Autos are trash right now in both PvP & PvE. But if autos get buffed in the future, this will be a GOD...lol I won't really list any PoE gear because it's essentially useless man. It sucks for the most part. The armor is only useful in PoE besides gauntlets. Their perks work anywhere, as for the rest, only for PoE. The weapons have the stupidest perks ever. they're retarded, & their burns make no sense whatsoever. PoE weapons look great, but are just an enormous letdown. There's nothing to specifically go for really. There's only 2 ways to get it. Play PoE for weapon/armor cores, buy from Variks. Judgements Chance can reward both weapons or armor. & beating Skolas has a chance to drop a primary w. A random burn also. it will drop as soon as you kill him if you are to get one. So if I were you I would just pickup some vendor gear for now to get to 32. Level up whatever vendor you like, & pickup gear whatever weapons / perks suit your playstyle. Dead Orbit has HC loader gloves, I think the Vanguard does too. Once 32, you can play Trials. Don't let anyone say you can't. The level advantage is hardly noticeable. I've went flawless w. 32s before w. No issues. & every time I play, I don't kill/get killed by 32s any quicker than I do a 34...all Trials & PoE gear drops maxed out in terms of damage/light. So you just need to upgrade their perks & be set. so definitely do that. You can get in-game trials drops, which don't come at 42 light, but 36. but stuff bought from Brother Vance & rewarded from the lighthouse will be maxed. Same with PoE gear. The only thing I'd say you wanna make a priority from the raids in terms of armor is boots, so you've got heavy weapon ammo. that's a necessity for me at least. & I'd assume most other players. I think PoE boots automatically have that too. But not Trials. They can, but it's not guaranteed. Hope this helps you out dude. idk, I probably missed something. Sorry if I did, but I figured this would be a decent little list for you to try n loot for..really hope it's of some use. Cus it took awhile to write lol.

If all I should be doing is PoE then I'm extremely Disappointed because I thought after so long and so much content added that there would be a lot of things I should be focusing.

Also: What's the must have gear for each class exotic wise? Seems like there are 2-10 purse for each slot and being out of the loop so long I have no idea what's best for any given situation or what's really sought after.

Buy as much vendor gear as you can (vanguard or crucible). All of that armor has 36 light, which can get you to light level 32. You don't need to do either raid unless you want a certain weapon from them. The better weapons in Crota's End raid are: -Hunger of Crota -Black Hammer -Word of Crota (not a great handcannon, but it is void damage) Run level 28 prison of elders for an exotic if you haven't already. First completion on a character grants one guaranteed exotic. After that, you're pretty much set. I probably forgot some things, but once you're level 32 be sure to find people to do challenge mode Prison of Elders (the level 32, 34, and 35 versions). This will get you etheric light (boosts most, if not all, legendary gear to 42 light, allowing you to reach level 34) and gives you an opportunity to just buy 42 light gear. I think I covered most of what you need to know. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Oh!!! Another question. What are these random yellow strong mobs that give me a time limit for some kind of key? I found a chest with light coming out of it on Venus after a fight but nothing important was in it.
