Awful conference from Nintendo, they brought nothing new to the table. Too many gimmicky recycled kids games. The graphics are completely outdated on the games. Thoughts guys?
Xbox > Sony > Nintendo at this years E3.
Nintendo need a new console
They have to first be in the competition to lose. They're stuck in 1999 trying to compete with Sega still I think. They're newest hardware isn't even better than MS and Sonys last gen. And they've all but lost all major third party support on their system.

Nintendo had a conference?
-
6 AntwortenSony second place? lol, how long have you been playing videogames? X'D pathetic
-
1 AntwortenNintendo always loses E3. Well at least since after the Wii launch...which I never saw the appeal for that console from the very beginning. I wouldn't mind having a Wii U, but with so little 3rd party support I really don't have much of a push to just get mostly all Nintendo mad games. I'm loving my Xbox One and PS4 :)...can't wait for Halo 5...and oh man, that Gears of War game looks awesome.
-
Nintendo's hand held market is untouchable. They will always make the most money. The games are and have always been geared for kids. That's why you played them growing up ;)
-
5 AntwortenNintendo still makes video games?
-
3 AntwortenNintendo has always been the third wheel compared to Microsoft and Sony. Yet again, Nintendo caters mostly to young kids who aren't allowed to play games like Halo and CoD yet. I guess there are a few exceptions such as the Legend of Zelda which caters to long time fans too but other than that.

Yea who would have thought that they were going to be showing games for the Nintendo Gamecube at this year's e3. ( guy hands me a cue card saying those were Current gen wii u games ) oh.....uhhh .....this is awkward

Bearbeitet von TeKnoVKNG23: 6/17/2015 4:19:17 AMNintendo needs to realize it isn't the 80s anymore...to me they haven't been relevant since the N64, back when they made games for somewhat older gamers, now all they care about is hooking kids on stupid statues...I'm sorry..."collectibles" lol It was pretty rough for them, I though EA had the worst conference but Nintendo easily took the cake.

While I'm not interested in everything on there, there are some pretty promising titles.

1 AntwortenThey should remaster some N64 games and I would consider getting one of their consoles

Fire Emblem Fates is actually one of my most anticipated games for next year. On the other hand, Metroid Federation makes me ill.

2 AntwortenWhen the Wii came out it was outselling xbox and Sony by leaps and bounds for a few years. But times are changing and it seams Nintendo is slow to follow suit.
-
4 AntwortenYeah Nintendo has dropped the ball. But I will say, nothing beats a good game of Smash Bros or Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64!!! Those are possibly my all time favorite games or very least 2 of my top 5
-
I had hope for nintendo until they ruined my favorite franchise with Metroid Federation. Why?

1 AntwortenNintendo recites the destiny mantra: reuse, recycle, re skin.

2 AntwortenWhats a nintendo?
-
2 AntwortenMario Maker and wooly Yoshi!! Seriously!!! Who the hell wants to play these games!!!
-
Xbox took E3 with the amount of exclusive fanboy games, PS came in second but barely, and Nintendo came in 9th place and only really had Star Fox.
-
8 AntwortenNintendo is living in the past. Back in the day it's biggest competition was Sega. It was always the battle of mascots between Mario and Sonic. Then came Playstation and Crash Bandicoot. Then came Xbox and I don't even know who their mascot was if any at all. Every other console has long since dropped their front and center mascots except Nintendo. Mario may be a big part of Nintendo's history, but it's time to let him become just that, history, and take things in a new direction. Stop rehashing the characters in the Nintendo universe over and over into more and more games and just let them be and try something new a little more often.

Nintendo needs to become a developer
-
2 AntwortenWhile I do think Xbox did win the show I'll say that they really needed to. If they had another humdrum conference like they have the past 2 years the X1 would essentially be done for this generation. They showed initiative and that they actually listen to what their fans say. Now they need to deliver. The xbox has a lot more going for it than people think, Microsoft just sucks at PR (yet they are improving) I am getting a PS4 though...Dat FF7. I'm excited for.both companies!
-
1 AntwortenIf they start making games like Pokemon for smartphones they will probably double their current profits.
-
1 AntwortenNintendo needs more than just a new console. Unfortunately, what they need is new leadership. It's sad but true.
