Bungie left halo so they would have some freedom with their games, that includes making games on playstation. At the beginning stages of the game destiny was going to be a playstation exclusive but that was changed as playstation probably didn't want to invest that much into destiny. At this point bungie is much more closer to playstation than Xbox, they're even showing the taken king during playstation's presentation...
