It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize how next to worthless the Titan Bubble is in Crucible. If we're being honest, it's impossible to deny.
Essentially, every other Super can either counter the Bubble or destroy it out right. This wouldn't be so bad if the Bubble had some sort of an offensive component to it, but it doesn't. Frankly, I'm confused why an "indestructible" Bubble can be dealt with by every Super in the game and then some.
How underwhelming.
Even with Armor of Light, one grenade and one shotgun blast kills you. A few shotgun blasts kill you. A Hunter can kill you from underneath the Bubble with his lighting attack. So, what's so "defensive" about the Bubble in the first place?
Oh, I get it... There's that one time when you saved your team from a rocket attack... Congrats, you just used your Super effectively in a situation that occurs %2 of the time. Meanwhile, a Hunter and Warlock just got a triple kill 3-4 times in that same game.
Cool, you used your Bubble to Revive your downed teammate. Now watch what happens when you decide to step outside the two foot radius that is your Bubble. Dead.
Face it, the Bubble (and Titans in general) needs a buff.
Don't be an idiot, buff the Bubble.

Of course it does the only thing it is useful for is the capture points

3 AntwortenThe bubble is a great distraction. Get creative buddy. I personally like to hide in the very back of my bubble so that when someone supers it, I can jump back and fire through the haze and cause them to panic, it's been quite a whole and still not many know how to act when someone survives their super. Or I like to put on the helmet of saint-14 and just run off, the idiots will walk in and be blinded so the nearest ally will take them out, it doesn't happen too often, but the results are very satisfying when it does occur.

2 AntwortenBubbles are amazing in control. Pop one at B and you have it
-
Defender is a defensive class, they are immovable walls. If the bubble couldn't be countered you'd just be crying that it needs nerf.

2 AntwortenDis nigguh went full re-tard.

4 AntwortenWeapons of light + sniper, hand cannon combo You are welcome, now shut the hell up. It doesnt need a buff, your brain does.

It should shoot void mortars

5 AntwortenIf anyone thinks that Ward of Dawn needs a buff, they are doing it wrong.
-
Stop complaining and just use striker scrub
-
If use use the first buff it makes you pretty much invincible inside and if you know how to bounce out quickly you can avoid the destruction of the bubble. until recently I never used my striker only defender and can't tell you how many times I've set a bubble up on a flag or main corridor and proceeded to work a team from it. If you use it right anything that walks inside it is dying dude whether you're using a shotgun like felwinters or sword breaker you have the advantage with an armor buff and forcing the enemy to come to you.

I supers to kill a super, stop crying.

Like what?

1 AntwortenThe bubble doesnt need a buff imo lol its actually op if you use it right

Bearbeitet von Mindshard: 6/14/2015 7:01:29 PMI absolutely love fighting defender titans. Rush in at them, they assume you're going to get killed in the bubble. A few of their teammates huddle inside. Fist of Ownage from outside so you land just inside and take their team out while also popping the bubble from the inside. I do agree though that titans are on the low end of the power spectrum, there's a reason the top charts are dominated by hunters, then warlocks, then finally a couple titans down the list. Slower speed, no blink, short range melee. We're just not designed to excel in the crucible the way others seem to be.

1 AntwortenYou're not doing it right

2 AntwortenAnyone remember when the bubble was supposed to be portable? You would activate it and it would create a forcefield that would move with you?

3 AntwortenI'm pretty sure that's why it's called the "defender" subclass and not the offender subclass

Helm of saint 14+armor of light= thunderdome

7 AntwortenIf u can't work a bubble in crucible with armor of light, helm of saint 14 and a shotgun, that's on u.

26 AntwortenUse weapons of light. Use a sniper rifle. One shot body shot everyone. Titan bubble is fine.

Have you watched JMPdoubleX that guy abuses his ward of dawn

11 AntwortenBearbeitet von Nanye: 6/14/2015 5:30:25 PMBubble and the Defender sub-class is fine. Surpressor grenades can cancel every super, whether its the animation(Defender, Striker, Voidwalker) or a running super (Sunsinger, Bladedancer, Gunslinger), and their abilities, and their double jump Force Barrier needs to be activated on a kill, but it can be buffed further. Regenerating, or even a reload speed buff, and you can choose to make it longer and stronger. Flame shield can be activated on a hit, yet has no buffs to it. The jumps are cool. Bubble buffs are amazing. Pop an AoL bubble down on a flag or important area, stay in it with Invective, watch your killstreak soar. Pop a BoL bubble to lock down an extended area. If anything BoL can be worse than AoL in PvP. WoL works a lot. The first IB I played, I used a Defender Titan as he was my only character and I wanted to rank up the Defender subclass for illuminated. Used The Swarm MG with Crowd Control and I was able to Two shot people. All subclasses have their weaknesses and strengths in both PvE and PvP. Edit: I dont use Helm of Saint-14 for PvP as the Armamentarium is an amazing exotic to use. Plus the blind isnt really good in PvP.
