Admit it, the Titan Bubble needs a buff (in Crucible)
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize how next to worthless the Titan Bubble is in Crucible. If we're being honest, it's impossible to deny.
Essentially, [i]every[/i] other Super can either counter the Bubble or destroy it out right. This wouldn't be so bad if the Bubble had some sort of an offensive component to it, but it doesn't. Frankly, I'm confused why an "indestructible" Bubble can be dealt with by [i]every[/i] Super in the game and then some.
How underwhelming.
Even with Armor of Light, one grenade and one shotgun blast kills you. A few shotgun blasts kill you. A Hunter can kill you from [i]underneath[/i] the Bubble with his lighting attack. So, what's so "defensive" about the Bubble in the first place?
Oh, I get it... There's that one time when you saved your team from a rocket attack... Congrats, you just used your Super effectively in a situation that occurs %2 of the time. Meanwhile, a Hunter and Warlock just got a triple kill 3-4 times in that same game.
Cool, you used your Bubble to Revive your downed teammate. Now watch what happens when you decide to step outside the two foot radius that is your Bubble. Dead.
Face it, the Bubble (and Titans in general) needs a buff.
Don't be an idiot, buff the Bubble.

2 AntwortenIt would be kinda cool if when a Titan bubble is destroyed, it causes an explosion field with potential to kill those who are in the vicinity. At least in that case, people will be more cautious about rushing a bubble to destroy it, rather than gleefully attacking it up close and rushing in to wipe out the opposition.

Easy fix, just let people shoot through the bubble, but with reduced damage. The titan that popped the bubble does 50%. Everyone else does 30.

I think it's fine. Get the helm of saint 14 and you're fine

I use it with weapons of light, illuminated and efrideets spear. Every round becomes a final round

Radiant skin on warlocks bro, same thing really. Both are great if used properly

3 AntwortenIt doesn't need a buff, I've had titans with the extra shield from the bubble survive gold gun. It's a very strong ability as it stands. Sorry to burst your... Bubble. YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!

When activated the titan bubble should throw enemies back if they are hit by the forming bubble

Should put it like it was in halo 3 with the bubble shield, have those little hexagons all around the bubble and a limited number of shots can be registered through before closing

2 AntwortenTitan bubbles are just free super kills. Buff it so it can actually survive supers or maybe even counter them. If a Nova Bomb is coming my way, I should be able to pop the bubble and protect my team mates.

1 AntwortenThe bubble is supposed to be strategically placed, not a portably invincibility shield. Its a support tool more than anything. You cant charge people with a bubble. It wouldn't make sense to buff it.

I think we should be able to shoot out of our bubbles with ..but we'd have to give something up lmao

7 AntwortenThey should make it protect from all supers that hit the outside of it. This would then allow it to be used tactically to protect your team at a point if you see a warlock running towards you with their nova bomb. That allows it to counter supers but can still be countered if the enemy runs inside and uses it
