It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize how next to worthless the Titan Bubble is in Crucible. If we're being honest, it's impossible to deny.
Essentially, every other Super can either counter the Bubble or destroy it out right. This wouldn't be so bad if the Bubble had some sort of an offensive component to it, but it doesn't. Frankly, I'm confused why an "indestructible" Bubble can be dealt with by every Super in the game and then some.
How underwhelming.
Even with Armor of Light, one grenade and one shotgun blast kills you. A few shotgun blasts kill you. A Hunter can kill you from underneath the Bubble with his lighting attack. So, what's so "defensive" about the Bubble in the first place?
Oh, I get it... There's that one time when you saved your team from a rocket attack... Congrats, you just used your Super effectively in a situation that occurs %2 of the time. Meanwhile, a Hunter and Warlock just got a triple kill 3-4 times in that same game.
Cool, you used your Bubble to Revive your downed teammate. Now watch what happens when you decide to step outside the two foot radius that is your Bubble. Dead.
Face it, the Bubble (and Titans in general) needs a buff.
Don't be an idiot, buff the Bubble.

2 AntwortenIt should damage enemies inside...I mean the hunters bow does minimal damage...but it's still damage so...

Kinda have to agree. The bubble is worthless in crucible. Soon as I see it, I blade dance five kills easily. Warlocks can nova bomb it, golden gun takes it out in two shots (or 3?) And blade dancers, well you know. My suggestion would be to make it indestructible.
-
Have it repel bullets. More like a ricochet type thing.
-
Everytime I see people use the bubble in PvP I laugh. Free kills.

1 AntwortenAnd this WHOLE time I thought "defender" class had something to do with *defending* **slaps forehead**

Just use Armor of Light in Crucible. It takes 2 blade dancer hits to kill you, and Nova bomb doesn't kill you. Pretty sure Fist of Havoc does, and golden gun can just shoot the bubble but it makes then waste two shots. Titan bubbles are the base for the infinite super method as well to win a match constantly using supers.

when they step in my bubble, shiit goes down. Moral of the story.... Don't step in my bubble! Bubble is love bubble is life.

Bearbeitet von Simmons the Red: 6/20/2015 8:54:52 PMWhat are you talking about, with armor of light I can tank a nova bomb, and take 2-3 hits from a blade dancer or survive a near miss from a titans super. I usually run the bubble in the crucible and do just fine, if any super needs a buff it's the hunters for PVE.
-
3 AntwortenThing is I can get it back almost as fast as they destroy it its all about placement of the bubble after you see others pop supers and do remember Titans have a grenade that can cut other supers off. Its a take and give super it's not bad but it's not good.
-
I think it's pretty good, people usually don't run into the bubble, but when they do they usually die. As for the dying after reviving your teammates, just use your bubble as cover, peek from the side of it and get a snipe off or something. Also, supers should be able to cane out the bubble because that guy decided to waste his super on your bubble. He could have just ran somewhere else and cause some damage.
-
They should make an exotic helmet for the titan that makes it so that enemies can't go into the bubble. It can still be destroyed with supers and you can still not shoot out or into it, but I think that would be a good perk for capping zones
-
I have just switched from playing Titan for 250+ Hours over to a hunter and can honestly say I prob will never take the lack lustre Titan back into pvp. Hunter is so much easier to use and both its specials are offensive mastery. Titan blows in pvp and the bubble is a pointless waste of time.

1 AntwortenAdmit it, OP is stupid. Nuff said
-
I don't mind the fact that it can be countered, but it's just that fact that anyone can just stroll into the bubble It's the stupidest thing.
-
4 AntwortenWhat? Really? I destroy everything when I use the bubble. I prefer it over FoH in PvP. Armor of light + shotgun = complete and utter destruction.

4 AntwortenSomeone clearly doesn't know how to use the bubble in PvP.

3 AntwortenShut up ya noob crybaby bitch. Nobody cares about your thoughts

5 AntwortenI main a defender titan. No it doesn't.
-
My only Titan is lvl 4 and I agree. I feel bad when I nova bomb 3-6 people in a bubble. There should be a class perk where it emits pulses of damage like a lightning grenade to those around it and hostiles inside it
-
6 AntwortenThere should be a perk ( in the weapons/blessing/armor or light line" called "movement of light" maybe where, if the perk is equipped, the bubble will follow you around but your movement will be much slow like weight of darkness 5x maybe Thoughts?

3-4 kills with a warlock super multiple times a game? Say wot.

3 AntwortenALRIGHT I CALL TROLL

I am a titan defender and it works great, I usually am fine if an opponent wants to break my bubble because it means with gift of the void I can get more orbs for the team... Which in turn gets me more orbs
-
Bearbeitet von Dwarfenheimer: 6/20/2015 2:33:56 AMSince the titan bubble is a void subclass, void in and of itself should produce damage. Honestly, how a void special doesn't damage things is beyond me. Maybe popping a bubble with an enemy inside could trap them and cause DoT while regenerating your health or refilling your super. I suppose that popping a bubble on top of your teammate could cause immediate revive as well. And grant them a shield. I know that's not an offensive move, but would increase the effectiveness of said bubble.

2 AntwortenThanks to trials I learned how to use the bubble offensively with helm of saint 14. If you see enemies trying to revive eachother, run right up to them and drop a bubble on top of them. Sit back and enjoy the show as your teammates pick them off while they scramble away into walls or make themselves easy targets in the air.
