It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize how next to worthless the Titan Bubble is in Crucible. If we're being honest, it's impossible to deny.
Essentially, every other Super can either counter the Bubble or destroy it out right. This wouldn't be so bad if the Bubble had some sort of an offensive component to it, but it doesn't. Frankly, I'm confused why an "indestructible" Bubble can be dealt with by every Super in the game and then some.
How underwhelming.
Even with Armor of Light, one grenade and one shotgun blast kills you. A few shotgun blasts kill you. A Hunter can kill you from underneath the Bubble with his lighting attack. So, what's so "defensive" about the Bubble in the first place?
Oh, I get it... There's that one time when you saved your team from a rocket attack... Congrats, you just used your Super effectively in a situation that occurs %2 of the time. Meanwhile, a Hunter and Warlock just got a triple kill 3-4 times in that same game.
Cool, you used your Bubble to Revive your downed teammate. Now watch what happens when you decide to step outside the two foot radius that is your Bubble. Dead.
Face it, the Bubble (and Titans in general) needs a buff.
Don't be an idiot, buff the Bubble.

What about if a guardian destroys it and there is an arc explosion that takes out people in a certain radius

Ain't fenna be no buffs bih

It should deflect other supers I think. Once the super comes in contact with another the shield is gone without damage to those inside. GG should only take two shots to down. There should be some foil to it. GG gets to be it. This stops the Titan smash and blade dance from wrecking face on another super.
-
Yes!!!! It literally gets wrecked by any other super
-
Most supers can counter most other supers. If you don't have a super, it's pretty hard to get rid of a bubble. Save the bubble for after the initial super rush, and use it then. 3/4/5 or even 6 people with overshields from Blessings is pretty darn nasty.

4 AntwortenUse the bubble buffs, duh. I'd never use armor of light in pvp. The entire team with over shields? OP. Trying to use the bubble as offense isn't the most efficient way to use it. Try WoL and BoL.

3 AntwortenTitan Bubble DEFINITELY does NOT need a buff. It is extremely useful in the right hands and smart squad. One Bubble can turn an entire game around in Control, no exaggeration. If you are ever in a competitive environment, where 2 clans set up a scrimmage against one another, it is always agreed upon that there is only 1 Titan Bubble allowed, as it is a complete Super Feeder for your teammates. Most people just don't use the Titan Bubble to its fullest potential and that's why they think it needs a buff. I'm kind of hesitant to type this, as doing so will give some players ideas for their Titans, but Gift Of The Void is the most broken thing about the Titan Bubble. It pretty much makes your Bubble indestructible in the sense that you either let the Bubble control the area or break it and risk the horrible experience of 5 players on the other team each picking up a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 Orbs. The Orbs GOTV give to teammates do not drop in the bubble, but rather on the Titan who placed the Super, so if the Titan is smart, he can drop Orbs in a safe area that pretty much guarantees they will be picked up. And once that happens, it's party time for those 5 teammates. This is why the Titan Bubble does not need a buff, it is a deadly Super in the right hands and team that utilizes it. Trust me, you do not want to see this thing buffed. If you're still not convinced, don't think of the Bubble as a shield, but rather either a Roadblock or Orb Manufacturer.

4 AntwortenI was under the impression that weapons of light made high impact snipers one-shot anywhere on the body....that is definitely not underpowered
-
4 AntwortenWow make an OP class even more OP! That's very smart?!
-
2 AntwortenYou say that but its hidden perk is pretty dope Queen bee: instantly attracts all other guardians to use their supers and kill you in about 3 seconds

Bearbeitet von Roxas: 6/24/2015 10:54:46 AMA super defeating a super, I'm not seeing why it needs a buff. If someone walks in your bubble and kills you, it's your fault, not the super's. It's not supposed to make you invincible, it's supposed to help you defend an area.
-
Titans in general DONT need a buff, that was a very dumb thing to say. Although I have no clue what you could do with the bubble to make it more useful, it's very useful in control and getting the last point in Trials of Osiris (when overtime happens) but other than that it's just a way to fend off others or make them pull their supers.

2 AntwortenThings to try! Play as hunter See bubble on control point Point at occupants Stand and look at occupants for a few second Occupants will undoubtedly start dancing inside .....wait for a few seconds more Whip out golden gun! .....watch as occupant/s frantically start scambling like little mice lol Then...bang bang bang Serve and enjoy!

You must not be using your defender titian correctly. The titian is a bubble factory depending on how you set your class up. It's even in the name defender. You are support. Your team mates get 2 orbs of light each time you put it down. And three more with gift of the void as it takes damage from enemy fire. Put on iron harvest for pve and use a heavy machine gun to make even more orbs. Best used for taking control of flags or doors in pvp. To me the Titan bubble is as strong as it needs to be. Because my teammates are able to use their super more often, netting them more kills.

Let's see wol + sniper = 1 shot anywhere on the body Wol+ handcannons = 1 shot head shots Armor of light + shotgun = damn near invincible Blessing = advantage in any gun fight Idk about you but I can't think of any other super that useful and with that variety
-
Everyone knows that bubble is used for the buffs in PvP and the occasional capping of a point in Control. Weapons Of Light is where it's at. I love destroying bubbles with Razors Edge. Especially against those teams that go for unlimited supers.

Bearbeitet von FaybIe: 6/24/2015 6:52:03 AMBe smart with it, don't just pop it for defensive reasons. Use it with weapons of light to get one shot body shot sniper kills or blessing of light to get that extra advantage in gunfights. It doesn't always have to be used for defensive reasons
-
Idk I'd it necessarily needs a buff but for pvp you should at least be able to shoot out of it cus it is easy to destroy a bubble

8 AntwortenThe man is asking for an offensive component on a a class called "defender"....

Lmao funny post. Btw I completely agree with you too bad nothing will happen to change this.

How about if bubbles had ricochet effects and suppressed enemies within?

1 AntwortenThe solar Titan should have had blink....

2 AntwortenIt should damage enemies inside...I mean the hunters bow does minimal damage...but it's still damage so...
