Super good advice
Working on its bounty atm. Is it worth it? I know the perk for most missed shots returning to magazine is awesome, especially for oracles, but is it an overall good exotic? Worth the slot over the thunder lord or icebreaker? What about vex?
Edit: ok, so a lot of you say it's the best for oracles, over soul, and the bubble. And almost every person says it is strictly specific and/or limited to those fields. I know it has a kick like a mule, but can a skilled heavy machine gun user control it? Lastly, can it be good for strikes, patrol, or nightfall?
Edit 2: there's a distinct line between the people who like it and who don't. Either way, I want to thank you all for giving me your thoughts on the gun. I couldn't play much today, but I got to 475/500 and am hoping to finish it tomorrow after my shift at the fire dept. my next edit will be my summery of the gun after a patrol through the cosmodrome. Again, thanks to all.

Final Edit: I got the sga today and ran it in both weekly and patrol on earth. The look, the sound, it is by far probably the coolest looking exotic. I know it may not be the best in damage, many of my exotics, ie, thunderlord, icebreaker, tlw, etc., are much stronger, I feel like it I max it, it could be a great gun. Here's my summary of use:
Rate of fire:
Same as the harms way, but still fast.
Impact:
Not so good, but get close enough and those three barrels will kill anything.
Reload:
I can live with it.
And stability:
Why all the complaints about its recoil?!?!?! It can be controlled! I have done it!
All in all, the SGA is a fun gun to use, and I hope to have good luck maxing it out.

2 AntwortenSGA will eat through the health of most enemies, it's amazing against oracles and oversoul. It's also really good against mobs. It isn't very stable though, but if your skilled it does have nice damage output. I would definitely recommend getting one.

1 AntwortenIt's another one of those exotics that is fun to use but not a great gun, aka hard light, no land beyond, and universal remote. Thunderlord is a much better MG exotic and there are plenty of legendaries that are similar or better. It's quick and easy to get, so is it worth it? Yes, but only because you don't have to jump through a ton of hoops to get it like bad juju, thorn, or invective.

1 AntwortenI'm a collector, so definitely get it, but there are far better exotics in the game. If you lack exotic heavy weapon, it's a good starter!

1 AntwortenIt's good to have, but it kicks wildly both left, right, and up, making recoil control for precision fire basically impossible. It's not worth using over icebreaker, thunderlord, or Gjallarhorn and such, except for explicit control of oracles or the over soul. It can be fun to use in regular strikes and patrols, but isn't worth it in the end game content (with the exception of those raid functions).

3 AntwortenIt could use a stability buff but it is not a bad weapon. It is fun in patrols and I would rather have it than dragon breath. But if it is a solar nightfall u are gonna use gally or IB in your exotic slot. For atheon it is an absolute monster on oracles. U can kill them solo easily and never worry about not clearing them. It is an easy bounty so if u don't have one then get one!!!

1 AntwortenI've used it for strikes and stuff like that... It's OK, but others are far better. Getting rounds back is fantastic. Missing those rounds in the first place is where it hurts.

1 AntwortenWhen I got it, I was actually surprised at the recoil. The recoil is actually very good and linear. The problem is that the bullets don't seem to go [u]exactly[/u] where you want them to. It's not precise so only good for close range and those fields you stated.

1 AntwortenOne of the first exotics I got back in vanilla destiny. Was alright back then, but today I just like to mess around with it on base PoE and patrols. The super good advice perk on it is pretty cool.

1 AntwortenOracles, oversoul, even destroy mines objective in PoE. You can use it in patrol for kicks and giggles. Strikes, maybe the lower level ones, but I would not use it in the weekly or nightfall, even with the solar burn mod. If solar burn, use ghorn, or dragon's breath or a legendary heavy machine gun with a much greater impact. Unless this is your only solar heavy. A nice exotic shard if you have more than one. As for the crucible, if just having fun or in regular, by all means use it. For IB or ToO, Thunderlord is a better choice. Watch or read Planet Destiny's review on it and a vs video between Thunderlord vs Super Good Advice.

1 AntwortenThe missing a shot almost always returns rounds to the magazine is super helpful depending on the situation. Oracles for example do not count as a hit so you could just hold the trigger down and probably be able to kill all the oracles, when you get teleported, with a clip or less
